This meal was easy and delicous even my picky eater wanted seconds. It was a fun twist instead of the typical BBQ chicken

I made a few tweaks, based on what I had in the house. I was very impressed, it was so good. I left out the curry, used only thighs, used dijon mustard and used sweet onions instead of red. Great flavor!

This trumped my former favorite honey mustard chicken recipe by far. The sauce, when reduced properly, is thick and flavorful. I made it for a summer barbecue and it was devoured quickly.

I'm utterly confused by the positive reviews. The "sauce" too entirely thin. I let the chicken marinade as a precaution, and it still tasted like nothing- chicken with nothing on it.

Excellent chicken!

Here's a hint... Although you are tempted to make the chicken breast - ship them. Just double up on the boneless, skinless thighs. Absolutely awesome dish - a keeper. We made the breasts and the thighs at the same time - you wouldn't believe how much better the thighs are !

The sauce for this chicken was too soupy and runny and very sweet. The chicken really didnt have a base flavor and the honeymustard slightly overpowering the barb-q sauce which made the recipie even worser. I wouldnt reccomend this recippies to ANYONE!

User: Amy from Berwyn, IL    User Rating:
This recipe made no sense to me. I combined all the ingredients which made a full pan of marinade. I then cooked the chicken and added it to the marinade to finish the cooking but the sauce was nowhere near being soaked up completely. It was a sloppy, soupy mess that I do not recommend to anyone.

My first disappointing Rachael Ray recipe! This tasted entirely TOO sweet. It was cloying! The honey mustard was too overpowering. Only after adding salt, pepper and chili powder did this taste better (spicy and slightly sweet.) I wouldn't make this again.

Bold flavor!! The combination of the apple cidar vinegar with the red onions proved to be a wonderful aroma in the kitchen. Once prepared, it was the most pleasing smell and the taste was bold and delicious. Although, it was five stars on the smell and flavor, it was not the most attractive, but for a barbeque product I would still rate it 4 1/2 stars. I will be doing this one again!! Overall Review: Excellent

I've made this many many times, and it is always wonderful - note that any leftover BBQ sauce can be frozen for a future use (or double the recipe just so you can have extra for the freezer). For those whose chicken is dry - you're over-cooking it!! If you haven't tried this one, it is truly a keeper.

I made this according to the recipe and the sauce came out very watery. I find it hard to believe this is how it is meant to be? Maybe the recipe was suppose to say...reduce to a glaze consistancy? Otherwise, I cant figure out what I could have done wrong. It's hard to baste with this solution because it runs off like water. Maybe I can watch the show and see how Rachael herself makes it.

The chicken came out so moist and tender. The only change I made was I added a little bottled barbque sauce because I wanted a barbque taste- without it it is basically a honey mustard sauce. Very good though!

A really great well rounded meal!! This was a great BBQ sauce recipe. I baked my chicken in the oven and served extra sauce on the side. Next time I make it I will probably try to thicken it up a little because it was a little on the thin side. Thanks Rachael for another easy meal.

I tried doing this recipe with a George Foreman grill (no porch in a NYC apartment for a real grill) and it still tasted delicious. It was a little difficult to baste, considering the white "fat collector" at the bottom kept getting full, but it sure tasted good. Here's to non-porched people with a good George Foreman!

When I made this recipe, I cooked the chicken on the stovetop, and I added toppings. When the chicken was done, I layered each piece with a slice of cheese (cheddar one some, swiss on others). I also cooked up 3 pcs. of smoked bacon and crumbled them to top over the cheese (only a little). I used 4 chicken breasts and had a bunch of honey mustard sauce leftover. I think I could use 8pcs. of chicken. Next time, I may garnishwith green onions. The sauce was different, but I liked it. Overall, the recipe was easy and it was delicious!

I was really nervous about the combo of honey mustard and red onion - don't know why - they worked out great!! I'm from the south, and barbeque sauce to me is tomato and vinegar - so I guess that was why I was skeptical. This recipe would work the entire family - there isn't one overpowering flavor which would make it unpalatable. try it!

Very Good Sauce !

User: JAMES from RSM, CA    User Rating:
As the sauce was being prepared it became apparent that it simply was not thick enough. I added about 4 or 5 tsp. of cornstarch slurry and it thickened up fine. I also used 1/2 red onion and 1/2 shallots. I made the honey - mustard by mixing equal portions of dijon mustard and honey with a little ground pepper, and added granulated garlic and ground red pepper to the homemade curry. Sauce has a nice sweet and tangy taste, will use the leftover on pork tenderloin in the future.

This recipe was easy, quick, and so tasty. The only problem that I had with the recipe was with the sauce. I used a homemade stock and O'Charley's Honey Mustard and it turned out a little thin. I fixed it by adding 1 tablespoon of honey and 1/4 teaspoon of cornstarch, brought it back to a boil, and then let it cool and it thickened up enough for brushing. I also cooked this on an outdoor gas grill. Tender and juicy and now its all gone.
