Ahhh Ummm 12/07/2004 at 11:36pm User: ELIZABETH from Chattanooga, TN User Rating: Those were the comments when I made these for our familys' tree trimming party! I did make a few changes, instead of the oregano and cayenne pepper I used a generous teaspoon of dried rosemary and about an extra clove of garlic. I also cut them a bit differently, after sandwiching the 7x10 pastry I cut that in half to make two 7x5 pieces and then cut 1/2 inch strips to twist. These tasted so good and I will absoultly make them again. Delicious and easy 11/10/2004 at 02:03pm User: MELISSA from cincinnati , OH User Rating: Made these for an appetizer to an Italian meal. Everyone loved them, plus they hold up well over a few hours. Will definately make these again with additional fillings. TIP - make sure you flour the board well before you put down the puff pastry or it is hard to get up. Easy and Delicious! 10/24/2007 at 07:46pm User: Janet from St. George, UT User Rating: This little goodies are easy to make and were real hit with my family. I served them as an accompaniment to Emeril's Meatball Soup. I did substitute a little garlic powder for the fresh garlic as I don't like biting into a minced piece that hasn't been caramelized first. Star for the Day 10/01/2006 at 07:54pm User: Jennifer from Columbus, OH User Rating: I prepared these for a friend's open house...I was a Star for the Day. The guests could not get enough, they went on and on and on about how great they were. I will definately make them again! party pleaser 07/16/2005 at 08:17pm User: mary from gorham, ME User Rating: took them to a party and got many raves.very easy to make Bam!! 07/14/2007 at 10:58am User: Dana from bloomsburg, PA User Rating: These were so easy to make and tasted delish. I made two full sheets of these and they are gone---the neighbors and their kids smelled them baking and were walking by noses sniffing the air! Yummy! 04/26/2007 at 11:17pm User: Anonymous User Rating: My family really enjoyed these. I like this recipe because even though I couldn't find puff pastry,I used croissant roll dough in a tube instead and it worked beautifully. They were easy to make and you can season them to your tastes. Puff Pastry Chesse Twist 02/21/2007 at 04:44pm User: sandie from Golden Valley,, MN User Rating: This is a good recipe. Tasty, but spicy... 01/11/2007 at 12:21pm User: Scott from Grand Island, NY User Rating: These puffs were a big hit over the holidays with family and guests, but were a bit too spicy for some of the wee and older folk...I'll make a batch with a little less garlic and cayenne for them next time. |
