i am definitely an olive lover, however i am not sure what type to use for this recipe - canned or kalamata? which works best?

Easy to make, a wonderful sandwich, a wonderful combination of flavors. Use young eggplant for fewer seeds and grill the focaccia extra crisp for a little extra crunch,

The black olives I used were marinated and salty. So I spread only 1/2 of the sandwich. I skip the roasted bell-peppers . These are extremely tasty. Roast the bread for extra crispy.
