Soooo easy. Very yummy. And versatile too. I brushed it on some fresh pineapple slices and grilled them afterwards. Heavenly. Then I used it in a spritzer.

I loved this sauce. It was wonderful. Helps with that sweet tooth. Though watermelon is great by itself I loved it . Oh I didn't have mint so I made it without it I was satisfied. For my sista in SC never judge before knowing. That doesn't just go for food. You never know until you actually try it.

Being a Southern girl I was hesitant when I saw this recipe. But after reading all the wonderful reviews, I just had to try it. Frankly, the syrup never made it to the platter of watermelon. I could tell by the smell that it was not going to be compatible and after enlisting the opinion of the members in my household, the whole concoction got dumped. Apparently watermelon needs help in other parts of the country, but we will take it Plain Jane in South Carolina - or maybe just a bit of salt every now and then.

There are 2 very different flavors hitting the tastebuds at once, but its definitely very good, and extraordinarily easy to make.

The lime adds a perfect slight bitter compliment of the sweetness in honey and watermelon...at least mine did.

This was easy to make, but keep the glaze off the watermelon until just before you want to eat it.

Lime and Honey

This desert is amazing and simple. It takes no time to whip up and tastes great. For a fancy dinner or just a fmily dinner this works wonderful. When you first take a bit you get a very sour lime taste in your mouth which is quickly muted by a very sweet honey taste all of which is topped off by the spring taste of the watermelon. Served cold is best, but warm would work as well. I reccomend squeezing your own fresh limes. Bying lime juice just does not work the same. This dessert really is quite excellent, not to filling but yet perfectly tasty.

Cool desert

This is a simple way to change/enhance the way watermelon tastes. It was a hit at family get-togethers.

This was a fantastic way to dress up a simple watermelon dessert. I think it could have used a little more honey, though. It really brought out the sweetness of the fruit.
