If you have essence on hand, this is a very easy to prepare recipe. Cooking the salmon this way also made it come out very soft and flaky. Excellent!

Love It

This was extremely easy and fast to make and the taste was just as pleasing. The sour cream sauce was so simple but tasted so compliacted. I couldn't quite get my onions to carmelize, and i followed the recepie to the "t", but all in all i was satisfied.

Impressive!

This recipe had me salivating. I was so excited to make this. Unfortunately, I got my hopes up a little too much. I guess I used too much lemon or something, but this recipe fell a little short of sublime. Only a little, though, and it might have been my fault. Also, the combination of sauteed onions and lemon was a little strange. Still, this is a great way to serve salmon... and versatile to boot. We served it over rice with a side of broccoli. I think any pasta or grain would have worked just as well.

This recipe was fantastic. I substituted angel hair for the farfalle, and I played with the sour cream sauce a bit, adding some emeril spice to it as well. I have gotten nothing but rave reviews from everyone I have made it for!!

My wife and I have made this dish several times and it has always turned out fantastic. It is very easy to prepare and cook. the lemon flavor imbedded in the salmon is terrific and the onions are to die for. We eat it with some baked sweet potatoes instead of the pasta and cream sauce.

I've made this recipe several times for my salmon hating husband and he loves it. The first time I made it I had to substitute red onion and lime instead of yellow onion and lemon. As I don't like spicy food and my husband does, I just give his piece of salmon more essence and cayenne than mine. Whenever I try one of Emeril's recipes, he's right on!

Very tasty

The flavors are just awsome, but a little bit too salty, I would get the amount of salt reduce to half on the Essence mix next time, but this is a keeper!

This recipe was so simple and brought out the best of the salmon. For the first time, the lemons on top actually infused into the fish. I think that covering the dish helped alot with this. The onions were fantastic. For the sauce, I did add some dill (mainly because I have tons of it frozen). I complemented the salmon perfectly with the carmelized onion and lemon. As for the farfalle, I can't comment on that because I skipped that! :)

I've never really enjoyed salmon. I must not have had it cooked properly because I found it a little too fishy for my tastes. This recipe balances the salmon with the sweetness of sauteed onions and the tartness of lemons and sour cream. The combination of flavors is awesome and the presentation looks gourmet. This one is going into my arsenal.

I made this recipe this evening and it was quick, easy and good. Next time I would add more essence to give the salmon more of a kick and double the sauce amount. The salmon, onion and lemon combo is very good together and the fish turns out just perfect. When I asked my husband to rate the recipe he gave it 4 stars. He said it was good, but not a wow. I must agree, the pasta lacked something in flavor. This is a nice midweek dinner menu.

Lemony, bright, with the dollop of the sour cream mixture giving it a zesty kick, though the whole lemon slices are a little unwieldy -- I might leave them off when plating in the future.

I have steered away from salmon because I felt it has a strong fish taste. This recipe tamed the taste and I will defineitly serve it again. Next time the pasta will be a "finer" texture version versus the type recommended.

My friend and I made this for a dinner party. it was SO easy to make, with simple ingredients, that I didn't think it could turn out that great?! It was a delishous crowd pleaser. We only had whole grain pasta to work with, which actually added to the texture and taste. It was so gourmet that my husband thought I ordered out and slipped it on the plates ;) The presentation was a 10. (ease up on the lemon)

great tasting salmon, very much like the basic foil wrapped salmon except emeril threw in the onions and rosemary. The onions were nice addition, although i didnt get much rosemary taste coming through, maybe i rinsed it off when i poured its juices over its self. the only bad thing was that it was too salty if you take emeril's advice and pour the juice over the cooked salmon, without the juice being poured it was perfect. thanks Em!.

This was so easy to prepare, and it was delicious. The sour cream sauce was just enough to put the dish over the edge. I served over angel hair pasta. I think next time I will use more essence. I went a little lighter to make kid friendly. I will make this again for sure.
