Great appetizer! 12/30/2004 at 04:54pm User: CYNTHIA from Plano, TX User Rating: Very tasty, and not to difficult to make. I increased the amount of jalapeno, and they still weren't spicy, though. Great Souffles 10/10/2005 at 01:31pm User: William from Springboro, PA User Rating: Nice and easy. A welcome change in souffle taste. very good 08/15/2005 at 04:46pm User: Anonymous User Rating: I used jarred/pickled jalepenos because fresh ones are not hot enough. These were good enough that I wouldn't mind trying to use a slightly larger muffin tin. Gruyere's not very convenient or practical 05/30/2007 at 10:16pm User: Anonymous User Rating: Has anyone tried this recipe with another kind of cheese in it's place, that came out tasting good? tasty and light 03/25/2007 at 11:54am User: Sally from Philadelphia, PA User Rating: These little souffles were a cinch to make and tasted great warm and also at room temperature. I definitely recommend taking Sara's hint about the getting a spicy jalepeno; my pepper was really mild! I think this recipe could be adapted to lots of flavors and could be used as "pillows" for lamb or pork chops. Its a great addition to the recipe box. An entertaining must use recipe 03/23/2005 at 10:19am User: Anonymous User Rating: Thank you Sara for a great recipe. I can't believe how good these are and they are a make ahead and just reheat. These are making an appearance with our Easter Ham, along with tomato tarts and devilled eggs. These are very flavorful and so easy to do. Great and easy 03/12/2007 at 11:09am User: mary from iowa city, IA User Rating: Easy to make with lots of flavor. Sara is such a treasure, wish more people saw the value of quality cooking rather than hopping on the "stoup" and "sammies" bus. Awesome, easy and freeze well. 02/25/2005 at 10:09am User: LYNNE from Austin, TX User Rating: This recipe is the first one I think about when I need to do an appetizer either at home or take to a party. They always get rave reviews. I agree with another viewer that it needed more flavor so added jalapenos. A little more Dijon doesn't hurt either. I even left out the jalapenos and added more Dijon for new moms who could not eat anything spicy. They freeze well. Just thaw, heat and serve. Good taste, small recipe 02/09/2007 at 05:57pm User: Melinda from Albuquerque, NM User Rating: Following the recipe exactly, it was way too small. I'd double it for two people and I'm gong to take it way up for Thanksgiving. It was really good - and EASY. Should be a huge hit next November. These are awesome! 01/01/2007 at 09:21pm User: stephanie from sacramento, CA User Rating: These mini souffles are great. I always double the recipe because they go so quickly. |
