I have never made a souffle before, but recently bought a souffle pan and was itching to use it. This recipe is so easy and delicious! My picky 15-year-old loved it. I have bought little souffles in the specialty section of my Raley's Market and we think this souffle has much better flavor. Have no fear! This recipe is fast and easy. I definitely will make this again.

Excellent and very easy. My arm is in a cast and so my husband helped make this with me to guide him. He never cooks but had no trouble following the recipe. It was delicious!

I have made many a souffle the old way, what a process. This was so wonderfuly easy, delicious and what a treat that you can do it ahead and make it when you are ready. I have now made it with shallots, mushrooms, Jarlsberg cheese...as well as spinach, Jarlsberg, parmesan and bacon. All turned out fabulous!! Merci!!

Satisfying comfort food. Different cheeses, different herbs yield lots of possiblities. BTW, en francais, the word is "Voila"! Viola is a stringed instrument, bigger than a violin!

I consider this souffle easy and delicious. I found a little less cheese (1 3/4 cups) makes the souffle a little lighter.

We have loved this recipe. I have passed it on to friends; I have even made variations of my own. I never thought I would find a delicious souffle that was so easy to make. This one works even for a novice cook.
