goat cheese salad 07/18/2008 at 11:33pm User: Anonymous User Rating: i love this salad awsome but careful 05/14/2007 at 04:13am User: Anonymous User Rating: This is one of the best salads i have made or eaten. The crew here for mothers day said it was rated a 5 as well. The craeful part is using quality fixins and mesurement. If you go cheap, dont have flavor balance , or misstep, this could be a mess. love this salad 02/23/2007 at 06:00am User: Anonymous User Rating: I've made this several times all to rave reviews. I skip the bacon and put mandarin oranges and candied walnuts into the salad instead. Great compliment to the goat cheese. Goat Cheese Salad 12/30/2006 at 10:13am User: Anonymous User Rating: This was an easy, but very fancy salad. I also love the dressing recipe on it's own. I would go ahead and buy the Champagne vinegar...it makes a huge difference. Great Salad 12/29/2006 at 11:55am User: Laure from saint louis, MO User Rating: It seems like I always have to bring a Salad to Chrismas Dinner and finding a "Christmas Worthy" recipe can be a challenge. This one held up. Easy to make and so good. One thing I might change would be to make the Goat cheese rounds a bit smaller, maybe about 1/2 to 1 inch thick. Yum 12/19/2006 at 01:37pm User: Anonymous User Rating: This salad is great! The goat cheese is easy, but looks professional and tastes wonderful Mmmm... so good! 11/25/2006 at 08:12pm User: Alyson from Orlando, FL User Rating: This is a delicious salad that presents itself beautifully. My husband loved this salad and I will make it again for company. I am not usually a big fan of goat cheese, but I loved it with the nut crust. I didn't have all the ingredients for the essence, but it turned out fabulous anyway. My kids didn't like it, but I expected that. I think it requires a grown up palate. Thanks Emeril! fabulous goat cheese 07/09/2006 at 09:53pm User: Anonymous User Rating: the nut crusted goat cheese is perfect with salad... even though it is good enough to eat by itself! Yum! - Super Easy & Flexible 12/22/2005 at 05:59pm User: Anonymous User Rating: This is a great foundation recipe that you can easily make your own. You can use different varieties of nuts, bread, vinaigrette, spices. The only thing that I keep the same is the mixed greens, chevre goat cheese and the bacon. I have made this about 10 - 15 times and I get rave reviews. I even tried it with Tempe bacon and it rocked (for the vegetarians out there). Best salad ever 12/17/2005 at 03:41pm User: Anonymous User Rating: If you rely on these reviews like I do, take it from me: this is the best salad ever. I made it Thanksgiving and everyone liked it more than the turkey, dressing and other traditional Thanksgiving favorites. This one stays in my recipe box for good! Delicious and Easy 12/04/2005 at 01:57pm User: Jim from Walpole, MA User Rating: Great change of pace to basic salad at dinner, easy to prepare and a hit with the entire family |
