Very Creamy 12/06/2006 at 09:44pm User: Mary from Andrews AFB, MD User Rating: I didn't know there was a difference in potatoes but now I know. This recipe was very creamy and very good. I will not go back to regular white potatoes! I would not recommend this recipe for anyone who is trying to lose weight. I left out the nutmeg and the last of the butter but it tasted great. Best potatoes ever 12/02/2004 at 11:51am User: CHRIS from Altoona, WI User Rating: The combination of Yukon Gold potatoes, lotsa butter, cream, and the home-made onion rings makes for a wonderful side dish. You will never go back to regular mashed potatoes again. Great potatoes! 11/23/2004 at 09:42am User: CHRIS from Broken Arrow, OK User Rating: I used russet potatoes, which I thought worked just fine with this recipe. The pinch of nutmeg and fried onions are a nice touch. Sometimes for a variation, I leave the potato skins on. The cream and butter are the key to these potatoes being great, so don't skimp on them if at all possible! Fabulous 10/11/2004 at 07:42pm User: BONNY from Branford, CT User Rating: These are amazing, they were a big hit!!! These potatoes are the best I've ever made, and I'm no spring chicken. Everything I make with Chef Puck's instruction turns out great. He rates right up there as the best in my book. |
