This is a very simple, yet very different recipe. The loin comes out juicy and tender and the cherry sauce adds a great flavor that is unique.

Yum - I have made this on several occasions because it is quick and delisious. I use pork tenderloins. I serve the tenderloin sliced on a bed of wild rice pilaf and spoon the cherry brandy sauce over. Very impressive. Love the nutmeg w/ the zuchinni also

I made this last night for friends and everyone loved it. Pretty easy to make but I stressed about doing it all day because I had not made this before and didn't know if it would turn out. It did and the flaming part was a show stopper. Next time I'll try the recipe first before I invite guess for dinner. Less stress for me.

Just awesome

At first I wasn't too sure about mixing shallot with sweet cherries and pork chops, but, WOW, is this dish awesome! I received both rave reviews and requests for a repeat in the near future. You have to try this recipe to see how well the flavors blend and create a memorable meal

This is great! Even though I was totally afraid of adding the cherries, I gave this recipe a shot. I don't know where the cherry flavor went, but I didn't taste cherry-ness at all. I don't usually use so many ingredients, so I actually felt like a real chef making this. I am inspired to play more in the kitchen. If the recipes are as easy to follow and as good-tasting as this one, I'll be coming back for more. Definite fan here! And the zucchini was a nice touch. There was green on our plates other than salad- Unbelievable! I admit this was the first zucchini ever purchased in my entire life. Yes, I have lots to try out and learn.

I wasn't a fan of this Brandy, Cherry, onion, sauce...it wasn't impressive at all. And the picture looks WAY better. However, the zucchini and walnuts were great. I added some honey to it, and some pumpkin pie seasoning...and it was sweet, crunchy, and delicious...skip the pork chops with the cherry sauce.

My family loved this recipe. I had to use cherries packed in heavy syrup but I jsut rinsed them beforehand. The mint added a nice flavor to the sauce. The zucchini had an original flavor with the nutmeg in it. I'll definitley make it again.

I made this for my family last night. Nobody thought it was anything special. Cherries and sauce didn't add too much and were lost in the taste of the pork. Won't be making this again.

Flavors reminded me of Thanksgiving. I think it was the warm flavors of the nutmeg and walnuts. Definitely a great twist on your traditional baked pork chop. I used fresh cherries with the added sugar and it made a great juice. Maybe more of a dish for the girls than guys. But I thought it was great.

Different. . . excellent leftovers.

Loved the whole thing. I think I should have left the zuchinni much tougher because it softens up considerably after you take it off the heat. My cherries also didn't flame up like hers, but it tasted terrific. Had trouble finding cherries in water and had to substitute a cherry pie type filling, which I just colandered out. The pork chops oven roasted beautifully. I am now doing a 30 min meal for every Sunday dinner.

What an amazing flavor mix

I had to substitute Wild Turkey for brandy. My "Pork Chops with Wild Turkey Sauce" dish was good, but the outstanding part of this meal was the zucchini with walnuts (I used pecans, though). Yum Yum Yum!!!

Made this day after seeing the episode, I only had thick bone-in chops and it still only took 45 minutes. I was working from memory and forgot the mint, but it was still great. I'm always looking for new zucchine recipes and this was a hit. The nutmeg was a great addition. Even my 13 year old loved it and finished off the zucchini before we could get back for more!

Fabulous!!! My husband hates zucchini so I doubled the shallot, held some over and put it in fresh green beans w/ some butter. Made mashed potatoes too which was perfect w/ the sauce. Great job Rachel!

I followed the instructions but the zucchini and the walnuts just were too blan for my taste and my children. We love zucchini when it is mixed with butter and seseame seeds but this one was just not to our liking. We did give it a try. Very quick and easy to make...

Made this with chicken and it was wonderful! I used boneless breasts with skin and just cooked them a little longer than the pork. The flavors were sooooooo good. I may even add a little more brandy next time.

When I first saw this recipe, I thought, "Hmmm... not sure about that," but I decided to try it, anyway. Let me tell you, I hardly want to eat zucchini ANY other way now!! The pork chops and cherries were awesome together, too. Hint from me, though. Be sure and get a GOOD brandy. Mine wouldn't flame up properly! :( COOK THIS MEAL! You won't be disappointed.

My favorite!

I made this dish last night and it was a huge hit! My husband and I both loved it. The cherries add that something special and unique, which made it great for a romantic dinner at home. He wasn't in the mood for zucchini, so we had stuffed mushrooms and acorn squash instead, but the pork and cherry sauce were great! Thanks, Rachael.
