I INTEND on serving this at my new years party and I keep nearly all the ingerdiants in my pantry The red pepper salad is amazing! 11/06/2006 at 09:31pm User: MOHIP from New York, NY User Rating: Definitely a recipe to keep. It's very easy to make, tastes wonderful, and appealed to everyone i served it to (a mix of meat eaters, vegetarians, and vegans). Definitely make sure you use very good oil to dress it and I stirred the basil in right before serving so that it had a fresher flavor. I also served it in a bowl with pieces of picholine olive bread and my guests ate it like a bruschetta. Also, the left overs make a wonderful sandwich with a slice of cheese. Really a keeper! Thanks Giada! great recipe 10/29/2004 at 07:33pm User: Anonymous User Rating: really easy and everybody loved it. Average menu & platter 09/08/2005 at 08:24pm User: Anonymous User Rating: The purpose of antipasti is to stimulate your tastebuds before the meal, waking up the appetite, and making you yearn for more. 'antipasto misto', or mixed antipasto - a little taste of everything: endless choices of vegetables cooked in every way; pickled, roasted, grilled, marinated, baked and fried. Cold meats such as prosciutto and salami are displayed along with platters of seafood salad, steamed muscles, and clams. Not to mention cheese (which can also be marinated), olives, nuts, etc, etc. I marinate tuna, place on a bed of mixed greens, surrounded by veggies that I have prepared in different ways; Italian deli meats, cheese (some I marinate). Follow with light desserts! Serve with red & white wines. Have plenty of pane (bread). parisa 06/07/2007 at 04:05pm User: pari from new york, NY User Rating: It was easy and great. Definitely worth a try, even if you're not partial to roasted peppers (because neither am I usually, but I've made this three times already!)
