It is great with so many things as Michael Chiarello suggests. Try sprinkling some in even when scrambling up some eggs! I was hesitant at first when pulverising the fennel seed but it paid off in the long run. I sprinked the rub on boneless skinless chicken breasts (which had been brined for 30 minutes in 6 cups of water with 3 Tablespoons of salt). Then I sauteed the breasts in a pan with 2 TBLS butter and 2 TBLS olive oil for 3 minutes a side.
