Can you believe how simple and yet yummy this sandwich is? My mom always bought nutella and I, as a child, loved making this on plain white bread. Now, my kids enjoy this occasionally too!

I never realised Nutella was right under my nose at the grocery store. I guess I just never noticed it. This was a very yummy snack, but one to be careful with. I could get myself in a lot of trouble with this! But a very rewarding little thing to eat when you deserve it. Yum!

I will spread Nutella on a lot of things besides bread. My 4-year old will eat whole wheat waffles with Nutella spread in between two waffles, like a sandwich. Also try a Nutella and banana sandwich on whole wheat bread.

Nutella is the most excquisite and delicious chocolate there is in the world to me! It's even better than the expensive chocolates they sell in stores (I won't mention names). I put Nutella on banana, bread, strawberries, berries, crackers...heck if I can put it in my soups, vegetables, meats, and drinks I would do it! IT IS SOOO GOOOD! No chocolate can be compared! Orgasmic!!

Nutella spread is a gift from heaven! I eat it on a slice of toasted 8 grain bread for breakfast. It is good on anything...This sandwich with bananas or strawberries is even better!

I was lucky to find Nutella Spread in my local grocery store. I melted a little slab of butter with the nutella sandwich and it was oh so good. Even my father likes it.

This is absolutely delicious! I had never tried Nutella before I saw Giada use it on her show for this sandwich. The sandwich was so decadent and yummy, and now I use the nutella on tons of things...pretzels, fruit, toast...and sometimes, I just eat a spoonful of it for a quick pick-me-up (shhh)! You have to try these sandwiches, especially if you love chocolate, or the nutella spread.

I grew up on these. My mom, born and raised in Italy, would occaisionally make them for my sister and I for elementary school lunch. Our classmates thought it was crazy to eat a chocolate sandwich. "Chocolate and bread? and for lunch?", they would say. We felt so special eating them though. This brought back great memories for me. Thank you.

I finally got a chance to make the nutella sandwich. I used a different ciabatta bread though, it was not the loaf.It is a good snack and after dinner dessert. I added butter to the bread before I heated it. It tasted even yummier!

This is so amazing. I love chocolate.... I eat peanut butter on toasted bread in which I love Now I have two easy sandwhiches to make when I am in a hurry or when the grandchildren come by. nutella is wonderful. i eat it since i was 5 yrs old. nutella is tasty but giada did not make the "nutella" itself. you're great, giada, every recipe from you that i've tried i ALWAYS get wonderful feedback. sorry.

This isn't exactly an innovative recipe, but it's still very tasty and worth heating up the grill pan.
