Good stuff! 12/30/2006 at 04:15pm User: Tim from Round Rock, TX User Rating: My grandma used to make turkey divan after Thanksgiving every year. This brought back a lot of memories! My family voted to not add any almonds and it ended up just fine. I added a tad more curry and a touch of cayenne because not everything is a democratic process. It's MY kitchen afterall!! Divanly Delicious 12/20/2004 at 09:27pm User: PAMELA from Los Angeles, CA User Rating: This recipe is so easy. I made it for company and they raved. This one is a real keeper! Yummy! 12/19/2005 at 06:56pm User: Denise from Morgan Hill, CA User Rating: Both kids and hubby liked this recipe. Broccoli didn't hold shape, and ended up mixed in with the sauce and kinda mushy. Think next time, I'll try it without steaming the broccoli first. Very tasty....especially the next day 12/02/2006 at 04:02pm User: DENISE from Boyne City, MI User Rating: I eliminated the almonds, simply because I didn't have any. I thought it was slightly bland, but thought the flavors improved overnight and it tasted much better re-heated the next day. good 12/02/2005 at 08:46am User: MEGAN from south miami, FL User Rating: This was pretty good. You really have to season the chicken while you cook it or the chicken pieces will taste bland. I poached the chicken and used that broth for the recipe. comfort food! 11/28/2006 at 03:50pm User: Anonymous User Rating: I had horrible "tuna noodle" memories from childhood. My Mother obviously couldn't create the rich complex of cosy flavors this casserole has! Best Chicken Dish 11/21/2006 at 06:59pm User: Anonymous User Rating: I've made this twice and it was so good. One of the best chicken dishes I have ever had. I used frozen brocoli instead of fresh and steamed just to make it easier. I will be making this many more times my family loves this 11/19/2005 at 06:43pm User: Anonymous User Rating: It's not hard to make and absolutely delicious. I leave out the nuts due to family alergies. Good basic recipe 09/25/2005 at 07:11pm User: Lynn from Cincinnati, OH User Rating: Ms. Moulton was giving us a canvas with this recipe. It's a wonderful basic recipe: easy, delicious. There are a lot of ways to make this YOUR liking, but you have to create it, so you should do so! I added shallots, a bit of garlic, some prosciutto, and some basil. If you really like to cook, you'll make this recipe your recipe, and I think that was the point of her doing "5 ingredients". VERY VERY BLAND 09/12/2006 at 07:51pm User: Jane from Superior, CO User Rating: This recipe looked really good but I found it to be very bland. Won't make again. MMM, MMM Good! 09/01/2005 at 01:48pm User: Anonymous User Rating: We now have a new family favorite. Forgot the almonds, but still great! Don't skip the nutmeg! 08/18/2004 at 08:51pm User: KIM from Overland Park, KS User Rating: The sauce makes this dish seem elegant even though it is so easy to put together. The Nutmeg might seem strange, but I think it is the best element of the sauce. I under bake some chicken brests while I am putting the sauce together and arrange the casserole dish then slice chicken on the diagonal so that it is perfectly tender. Perfect! 08/12/2007 at 02:23pm User: DANETTE from Dallas, TX User Rating: This dish was so creamy and satisfying. The broccoli ads nice balance. One of my favorite recipes! Virtually Tasteless 08/07/2007 at 03:41pm User: Gary from Irvine, CA User Rating: I found this recipe to be very bland and lacking taste. I would not make this again. Want to save time? Just pour a can of condensed Cream of Chicken or Cream of Mushroom soup over a few chicken breasts, broccoli pieces, sprinkle with almonds, and you've got yourself a better tasting dish than this with a lot less time and effort. very good 08/01/2005 at 10:18pm User: Anonymous User Rating: It was easy to prepare and my family loved it even my husband and mother who do not like cream sauces or brocolli ;-) Delicious! 06/19/2007 at 07:19pm User: Anonymous User Rating: Lots of steps to get the end result but it is worth it. Made this and had lots left over for a 2nd meal for family of 4! godd eats 05/21/2006 at 08:43am User: Kim from Jacksonville, FL User Rating: Made this for the family and they loved it!!!!! Delicious 03/17/2006 at 06:40pm User: beth from Eureka, CA User Rating: This turned out much better than I expected, the recipe seemed so simple but the sauce is what makes it so delicious. I added sauteed onions, garlic and mushrooms to the sauce as well as cheddar cheese, it tasted incredible. My husband loved it and asked when I could make it again. easy and delicious 03/14/2005 at 08:17pm User: LORINDA from Pepperell, MA User Rating: this was a snap to make and everyone loved it. I used whole wheat flour as the thickener which gave it a slightly more robust flavor. Birdy from Michigan 03/09/2005 at 02:22pm User: Anonymous User Rating: Looks nice on the plate but very bland tasting. Sauce needed more spices. Fantastic Change to Chicken! 03/01/2005 at 11:08am User: LISA from Bowie, MD User Rating: This was a great, easy and tasty recipe. My husband is a chicken-only man, and I had to find something to keep me interested in it. This recipe did the trick! It was easy to make, didn't require all the non-essentials that you hate to buy at the market, and had a texture that was new and delicious. I would also recommend this recipe to the low-carbers out there as I didn't see much room for high carbs to get into that recipe. not as good as I thought it would be 02/28/2005 at 10:23am User: Anonymous User Rating: Flavor was just OK, could have used a bread crumb topping or some nice texture Chicken Divan 01/30/2006 at 09:25am User: Anonymous User Rating: Didn't have enough flavor for me or my family. I will not make again. Pretty good 01/22/2006 at 07:47pm User: Anonymous User Rating: This recipe was pretty good, but I found myself wanted more cheese sauce. Ravan for Chicken Divan! 01/21/2006 at 12:30am User: Sara from Palos Verdes Estates, CA User Rating: This was an extremely easy reciepe to follow and it tasted like you made the sauce for hours. My entire family ate it up and even had seconds. This is definitely a keeper and would even be nice as a dish for entertaining.
