I've made this recipe twice and it was a huge hit! My father who does not eat greens eat them all. The second time I made it, I added a splash of soy sauce instead of using salt and it came out fabulous. I'll always use this recipe when I make asparagus!

Made it for parties and just for my husband. So simple and works out well every time. I like it both with and without the lemon at the end. Agree with earlier review that you should just keep an eye on the asparagus at the end; I rarely need a full 20 minutes.

EASY and is one of my fav dishes, tho I usually do a similar dish on the grill, this is a perfect indoor dish, took it to the beach, had it with the macadamia nut crusted Mahi, didn't do the jerk sauce, thought it a bit much.(The place we stay is an efficiency, so we take our food to cook, perfect easy beach vacation dinner!)

Great recipe! Next time I'll try to remember the lemon. I would recommend reducing the cooking time- asparagus usually doesn't take more than 10 minutes (maybe 15 if it's super thick). Mine cooked in a little less than 10 minutes and it was perfect. Any longer and it would have been mushy.

So good asparagus!

a nice change of pace to the pan sauteed asparagus i usually make for a typical weeknight dinner. timing worked well side by side in the oven with my protien. uncomplicated, light and fresh lemon and garlic touch to our typical weeknight meal. i added baby corn 'cuz i had it on hand, and tried a splash of soy sauce as another reviewer recommended. husband and 5 year old had no complaints.

I've made this twice and it has gone over very well even with my 9yo dd. I found that I do not need to add as much oil as directed...cut the fat where you can. The garlic flavor it wonderful. I've forgotten to add the lemon both times but don't think it needs it. A great new way to eat our veggies besides the usual old steaming.
