Over all this came out great and very tasty!!! It's Alright... 12/02/2006 at 02:22pm User: Sarah from San Diego, CA User Rating: I saw that this recipe had 5 stars, so I was excited to make it! It was easy to make and didn't take very long, but I was disappointed in the taste. To me, it tasted like chicken broth with eggs. There wasn't very much flavor. I prefer the egg drop soup at a chinese restaurant. I will make it again though since it was simple. I don't think I will offend anyone but I did modify it slightly,,,a little garlic, and 4 mushrooms ?....use them all...trust me ! I made my stock fresh and went right to the making of the soup. I do recommend to keep your chicken stock sorta bland until the very end then spice to taste.. For an extra notch, throw some of the Chicken from making of the stock in at the end.. Very very nice soup.. Better than take-out! 02/16/2005 at 02:21pm User: Anonymous User Rating: Super easy recipe (especially since I have a son who won't eat mushrooms, so I left them out)!
