I bake everyday. I found these bars so easy due to the food processing. Yes it is a lot of ingredients, but I use a bag of Mariana's mixed dried fruit it works just as well. I also switched the molasses for maple syrup no difference. Next switch, oat bran, millet flour, barley flour in addition to w/w flour and reduce a/p flour. The dough is sticky enough to hold together anyway. If you are finding it too cakey, reduce the mix time, you're putting too much air into the eggs.

I love em

The bars tasted ok, but that's it. Just ok. They are very crumby too. I would have liked a more chewy consistency to it, but it was more like cake.

These energy bars are delicious. I am a bit of a health nut, so I found this recipe to be appealing because it uses little salt, butter, and sugar; additionally, it uses healthy items such as fruit, wheat germ, oats, and milk. The bars tasted quite good--the molasses was a nice touch. They were a bit crumbly, but on the whole this recipe is a winner!

they weren't what I was expecting texture wise, but they taste great. They're sweet enough to make you think that you're having a treat, but actualy good for you!

Lots of ingredients but worth it! I love them - not too sweet - and excellent for you! And you can freeze them so you can make a large batch for later. Worth the effort!

these are a little messy to make, but very much worth the effort. I have not found another recipe better than this for a breakfast bar or workout bar. They taste much better than the store bought bars.
