absolutely delish. i used danish creamy havarti and prepared horseradish. and it was excellent. the tomato remoulade (which tyler includes in his book was the PERFECT special sauce to go with this burger)

I love horseradish and i love burgers, it just never dawned on me to put them together. if you really want to kick up your horseradish burger w/o losing the flavor of the sauce, use extra hot horseradish sauce....YUMMMMMY!!!!

Best burgers ever

The recipe for these burgers is so simple and quick. The burgers were incredibly flavorful and juicy. Both my husband and I will use this recipe many times in the future. Thanks!

Burgers were great, (added extra prepared horseradish) a nice change to the regular burger.

this recipe was quite good. it was easy to make and goes great with corn and potatoes on the grill. the hamburgers tasted like we were eating steak.

I started with this recipe, used some ideas seen elsewhere on FoodTV and added a couple of touches of my own. Change 1 (from another FoodTV show): use 1/2 ground sirloin and 1/2 ground chuck (rather than all chuck) Change 2, add a generous splash of Worcestershire sauce (maybe a tablespoon for 2 lbs. of ground beef) I don't bother to grate my own horseradish; the prepared stuff in a jar works just fine. This is the only way I make burgers these days (occasionally exclude chives if they aren't handy).

Not worth the time

I spent a lot of time preparing the chives and grating the horseradish for these burgers. I wish I would haved saved my money and just done regular burgers with cheddar. Spending 10+ dollars on cheese, chives and horseradish to make the burgers taste marginally better isn't worth it.

yum!

These burgers came out nice and juicy. However, nothing special. Liked the cheese, but will stick to my old burger recipe. I love you Tyler!

... I'm always looking for a great burger recipe and this one looked super ... ON PAPER ... in reality it produced not only a crap burger, but crap meatloaf ... I would avoid like the plague ...
