Crowd pleaser! 06/18/2008 at 10:41am User: Anonymous User Rating: This recipe was extremely easy to follow. Give yourself time to get everything done (I'm a last minute, throw everything together type). It also works beautifully in a trifle dish. Definitely follow the ladyfinger dipping instructions. Don't leave them hanging out in the espresso bath for longer than a second or two...they will be soggy. WOW! Soooo Good! 02/19/2008 at 03:47pm User: CHRISTINE from Pleasanton, CA User Rating: Super easy recipe and DELICIOUS! Instead of the chocolate marscapone filling as the top layer, I topped it with fresh whipped cream and chocolate shavings. Really good. Oh, and instead of using semi-sweet chocolate, I used bittersweet and I'm glad I did b/c this dessert wasn't overly sweet. I look forward to making this again. easy easy easy 07/09/2007 at 12:22am User: Roberta from Huntsville, MO User Rating: As good as any you can get out and about. Best tiramisu ever! 04/30/2007 at 07:16pm User: Anonymous User Rating: I love chocolate and thought I loved traditional tiramisu. After having this chocolate tiramisu I never want traditional tirimisu again! Wonderful and Easy 11/21/2006 at 05:18pm User: Anonymous User Rating: This dessert is so delightful and simple. It makes about 12 servings and is a wonderful party dish. VERY STRONG 05/17/2006 at 03:55pm User: Angela from Englewood, CO User Rating: very strong Tiramisu, to much liquor flavor and very hard to make. Addicting! 03/08/2006 at 02:09pm User: Anonymous User Rating: This was an incredibly decadent dish! I made it for friends who loved it and then I ate the leftovers for a week! A chocoholic's dream! And super easy to make. Just awesome. Excellent! 02/17/2006 at 03:26pm User: STEPHANIE from Tucson, AZ User Rating: This was first rate - absolutely delicious. It tasted as good, if not better, than any tiramisu I've had at a restaurant. It was also very easy to make. I will make this again...for company this time! fabulous! 11/07/2005 at 09:30pm User: Anonymous User Rating: I made it for a dinner party last night and everyone loved it. It was really easy to make too. I omitted the alcohol though. Very Tasty! 11/01/2005 at 10:04am User: Anonymous User Rating: This Tiramisu is very good, it is super rich and very creamy. I made this for a group of 10 people and they were all impressed, some even asked for the recipe. It is one of my favorite desserts and it is also really easy to make. great tasting and easy to make 12/26/2004 at 09:40pm User: Anonymous User Rating: I thought this was going to be difficult and time consuming, but it wasn't at all! It was simple and my family ate it up so quick. It's great for those people who don't like their dessert to be too rich. And it tastes even better the next day! Excellent 09/07/2004 at 05:35pm User: BECKY from Wentzville, MO User Rating: Very delicious. Much richer than regular tiramisu, but a wonderful variation. I'll make this one again! Not aesthetically pleasing 08/04/2004 at 01:29pm User: Anonymous User Rating: I found that the end product for this recipe to be unaesthetically pleasing to the eyes. The look of food plays a large part in whether I will eat it. I did try it, and it tasted mediocre. I found that the taste of coffee and coffee liquer was weak. If I use this recipe again, I would either use stronger coffee or more liquer. Delicious 06/21/2004 at 11:38am User: S from Germantown, MD User Rating: This was an easy and delicious tiramisu recipe. One caution, if you soak the ladyfingers any more than a brief few seconds, they will suck up the liquid and completely fall apart. I just dunk them in the liquid so they're coated and pull them right out. I prepared this for father's day and everyone adored it. Also, it was a huge recipe -- I cut it in half and made it in a square pan. |
