Delicious & low fat 12/25/2007 at 07:45pm User: Karen from Dover, NH User Rating: I made it for Christmas and everyone was asking for the recipe. Was a big hit. Easy to make and yummy 12/04/2007 at 01:13pm User: Anonymous User Rating: I served this at a summer party and I was nervous about it. It turned out great and the taste...oh so good! Lots of people really liked it. An Answer to the "Gritty Texture" concerns. 11/15/2007 at 01:21am User: Jeffrey from Terry, MS User Rating: Ricotta Cheese by nature has a "gritty" texture. Cottage Cheese can be substituted if the whey is strained. It will not have the same intended flavor, but it will still be delicious and have a creamier custard texure. Healthy Delicious Treat 11/05/2004 at 11:14am User: NOREDA from Hilliard, OH User Rating: A healthy and delicious dessert for any friends and children. good low cal dessert 08/07/2006 at 04:56pm User: Anonymous User Rating: This recipe was quite a hit at a teacher's luncheon in the small town where I am. It is light, but tasty, good for the summer. It was difficult getting the right size angel food cake to fit the bowl and keeping it submerged in the custard mixture, but I found that a heavy pot on top did the trick. blueberry orange trifle 08/06/2004 at 06:26pm User: MARYLOU from Wilson, NC User Rating: wonderful & easy dessert Whoa! 08/02/2005 at 09:39pm User: Rose from St. Johnsbury, VT User Rating: Whoa....it's but a trifle. Simple...delicious DELICIOUS 07/10/2007 at 05:50pm User: Anonymous User Rating: Refreshing dessert. Good for the summer. very disappointed 04/15/2006 at 08:44am User: Tracy from Baldwinsville, NY User Rating: well, here I am w/no dessert to bring to Easter dinner. I followed directions exactly, read them several times to make sure I didn't mess up. This never set up and was soupy & of gritty consistency. Chucked it & now we have no dessert. I'm very disappointed as this sounded so good. If someone knows what the problem is, I would love to know as I would like to try again if I knew what the problem was. yucky custard 03/27/2005 at 04:00pm User: CINDY from rio rancho, NM User Rating: the custard was terrible, i followed the recipe and my custard was just gross! it was not soft or smooth, it tasted like sand. i had to throw it away. how disappointing Good dessert for a rich meal 01/25/2005 at 02:41pm User: ELAINE from Bay Village, OH User Rating: This trifle is light and an excellent conclusion to a rich meal. Fully flavored, but not heavy. Healthy and Good! 01/11/2006 at 04:43pm User: Vicki from Knob Noster, MO User Rating: This was a light and tasty dessert. I love the flavor of the orange juice on the cake. The best part was; that it has low-fat ricotta and non-fat yogurt; delicious but not too fattening! Top that off with the blueberries and what a refreshing dessert! Vicki Madden EASY DESERT 01/10/2006 at 07:59pm User: GRACE from LUTZ, FL User Rating: QUICK, HEALTHY AND EASY TO MAKE hated it 01/07/2006 at 11:15am User: Nikki from chicago, IL User Rating: The custard was disgusting and the texture of the dessert was gritty. I threw out all but two bites that my husband and i ate. I would not recommend this to anyone. |
