These cookies required a lot of work. When I bake them again I will spread the work out over a few days so the baking won't be so intenstive. (ie, nut preparation on one day, mixing on another and baking on another). Not sure if I didn't use enough nuts or what the case was but the cookies came out somewhat flat. They still looked great and were a great crowd pleaser.

These cookies are rich but not too sweet. I took an easier approach and didn't pipe them out and they were beautiful that way too.

I made these cookies for my son's pre-school class. The kids liked them, but the parents LOVED them!

It's good. I used the dried out shelled hazelnuts with skin, so I'm sure it'll even be better if you toast them and remove the skin.

Labor Intensive!

I found these cookies a little bit labor intensive. Very difficult to pipe through the pastry bag! Also, a discrepancy or a mistake in a recipe is one thing, but food poisoning can be life threatening. "Leave them at room temperature uncovered overnight"? With raw egg whites, that's too risky, and weren't the unbaked cookies refrigerated overnight on the show? The recipe, although obviously changed to fit the home baker, is very different from the one on the show.
