this was my first time making fudge and i was pleased with the outcome. it was very easy to make. the best part was that i already had all the ingridients at home and did not have to make a stop at the super market.

This is the best peanut butter fudge I have ever had. Forget about all those recipes where you have too cook sugar, they don't taste like peanut butter anyway. This is the stuff. So delicious! I would say watch when you melt your peanut butter though because I have a newer microwave and when I did the full 4 minutes of microwaving, the last minute was a bit too much. They peanut butter dried out a bit. But I added a touch of milk and it came back together. But still watch it, you don't want that to happen. This is also excellent dipped in milk chocolate. YUM!

Soo easy!

User: Anthony from clearwater, FL    User Rating:
This recipe is very simple and has great results but I used the aired version, which I do not recommend, then again, I also suspect my microwave to be a little high. (Sorry, I do not know the wattage.) If you do follow the on air recipe (covering with plastic wrap and docking it) watch it carefully, or change the power to a little under high, I did not have a boil over, but if it was longer than the final two minutes of cooking, it would have, as it reached the plastic wrap just as it finished. If you do manage to have a near-boilover as I did, do not worry, as the results are still excellent.

WARNING: DO NOT heat the peanut butter in the microwave!!!! (espically if you have over head microwave. After i heated it, i was trying to get it out of the microwave, it had boiled over and was very slick and HOT. Well because it was slick when i was getitn it down it slipped and burnt my whole arm and if my dads friend wasnt a paramedic and had some silvadine then i would have had to go to the hospital becuase it would have been a VERY BAD burn.

User: ronald from rome, NY    User Rating:
I just made this for the third time. It was so good my daughter and her friends could not get enough of it. I read the reviews, some said needs more peanut butter, some said needs more salt. Do not add more peanut butter, because it tasted like sticking your finger in the peanut butter jar. It lost that creamy rich taste. On the tv show he said use unsalted butter, but that leaves it to sweet. So make it excatly like the reciepe except use salted butter. You will be very happy. polishboy from floyd

This is not only the easiest, but the best peanut butter fudge ever. I have tried several different recipes over the last 20 years and none of them have turned out. I made this in a matter of minutes, it turned out great, and was delicious. I took it to work for our Christmas party and it was gone in about 20 minutes. And it was a double batch. Everyone is still talking about it and several have asked for the recipe. My husband had me make another double batch for him to take to work for his crew. He has NEVER asked me to make him fudge before. Thanks Food Network and Alton Brown to this wonderful, delicious, and so easy fudge recipe. Merry Christmas and God Bless...

But with the first batch after making it, it wasn't peanut buttery tasting enough for me so I added 1/2 more cup of peanut butter and the second batch was wonderful. Peanut butter fudge was a new try for me, and I can't say that I cared for it much. For now, I think I'll stick with the chocolate - I can't wait to try Alton's recipe for that! :-)

4-star fudge, 5-star easiness!

My wife and I made this fudge in 7 minutes! (plus refrigerator time) It was so easy to make that I was very doubtful of what it would taste like. To my surprise it was really good! Since I had read several reviews that said it was too sweet, I used the Jif "natural" peanut butter which has 30% less sugar. The sweetness of the fudge was perfect. Next time I think I will make AB's chocolate fudge (best I ever tasted, but WORK!!) then top it with a half recipe of this peanut butter fudge.

I cannot believe how easy and good these are. I always buy fudge at the beach and consider it a treat to have, but who needs overpriced beach fudge when you can make it this simply and it is so much better. This is a great treat to wow your guests with. Delicious!

I have made this recipe twice. While it's not the absolute best PB fudge that I have eaten, it is well worth making so you don't have to mess with recipes you have to use a thermometer. Overall, it's pretty good and very easy!

A friend and coworker of mine made a sublime peanut butter fudge and brought it to work one day. She would not share the recipe and I tried on several occasions to duplicate her creation without success. This recipe is even better and so incredibly easy! Thanks so much Alton Brown and The Food Network! My family will enjoy this again and again!

This Fudge is absolutely delicious!! After making it several times I discovered that the batter is best mixed with a whisk to take all of the lumps out. It also helps to sift the powdered sugar. Overall this recipe is fantastic, and a sweet treat that everyone can enjoy!

It would be difficult to find a much easier recipe for a yummy, peanut buttery desert. It is just a tad sweet for my taste, though I suppose reducing the powder sugar a little might solve that dilemna.

A great recipe with just 4 ingredients! Perfect for a homemade dessert you need quickly. A good taste, sets well. And don't forget to coat your pan with butter before the wax paper goes in. Without it, the paper skids all over making the fudge hard to spread!

Easy and Delicious with a twist

User: SHEILA from Vestavia, AL    User Rating:
This was the easiest thing I made for my holiday gathering, and probably the most successful. Everyone loved it and it took no time to make. The Twist? I used crunchy peanut butter to make a nutty fudge and it added a little texture to the creamy smooth candy. For those who say it's too sweet, it tastes just like fudge to me. But because it's so creamy, you don't have the granulated sugar taste that you might get with other fudge recipes.

So easy and so yummy!!!

This fudge is so good, but the ease and convenience is what puts it over the top! I also found it to be a bit too sweet but found that a pinch of kosher salt solved that to my satisfaction. This is a new staple at our house!

This made a very good fudge, which is very rich and is extremely easy to make. The problem I encountered, though, was that it tended to crumble when I cut it, leaving the pieces of fudge kind of misshapen. Of course, this may be my own fault, but that is what I encountered.
