My family enjoyed this cake, but it didn't "WOW" them. so in our opinion Love is too strong of a name and we would call this like a lot cake but not love cake.

Fun and easy to do, very yummy and different. The cake is not too sweet, but perfectly chocolatey. I used mini chocolate chips, and sprinkled some extra on top of the whipped cream frosting to make my love's birthday cake that much more special.

I was very surprised to see how low this recipe was rated. I made it for my husbands co workers and they LOVED it. I did change the recipe slightly. I only used 1/4 cup cocoa and I had to bake it for 1hr and 20 minutes. It is very easy to make and I will be making it again and again.

Been making this cake for family and friends for 8 years. Everyone loves it. I am asked to bring it wherever I go. It MUST be chilled for 8 hours, or overnight for best taste.

I had made this cake for a teacher's birthday, and some of my friends also joined in on the taste testing. The cake was a big hit and went with the theme of love being Valentine's Day.

I made this cake for my husband for Valentine's Day and he loved it. It's very easy to make and VERY good. We had enough left over that my inlaws and my husband's aunt and a friend of hers had some too a few days later and it was a hit with them, too.
