So Good! 10/09/2005 at 06:49pm User: KATHY from East Hampton, NY User Rating: We had this last night, and wow! I had some grilled chicken and some roasted peppers which I added to the recipe, and used sliced bread (ciabatta) brushed with garlic butter and baked in the oven - but the mixture of the caramelized onions and Camembert was wonderful! And the apple chutney, the sweetness of the apples against the garlic, onions, and jalapenos made us all say yum! Not a Huge Fan 09/18/2006 at 11:55am User: Anonymous User Rating: I thought for sure I would love this recipe but it left something to be desired. Maybe I will try it with some chicken or pork but overall I felt it was a disappointment. Delicious 08/31/2004 at 01:49pm User: NANCY from somerset, WI User Rating: We have made this recipe many times this summer. And every time it turned out perfect. I do have to admit that we have added grilled chicken or grilled pork loin sliced up to the recipe, as it seemed as it was lacking something. The chutney was delicious. We cook everything on the grill and this one is definitely a favorite. Great - but a lot of work 04/08/2007 at 04:48pm User: Anonymous User Rating: I really liked this gourmet twist on a quesadilla. Some sort of meat may have been good in it, but I stuck to the recipe as I was making it for a vegetarian friend. I liked the flavors, especially the extra kick and sweetness from the chutney. Next time, I'll make the onions and chutney in advance, as the prep work was the most time-consuming. What am I Missing? 03/18/2006 at 01:42pm User: Elizabeth from Blairstown, NJ User Rating: I just thought these were okay and I usually love Bobby Flay's recipes. I added chicken and maybe they would have been more tasty with no chicken and more cheese. I've made a chicken quesadilla recipe of his with a spicy peanut sauce that I really love. Maybe I'll just go back to that one. Wow! 03/09/2008 at 07:15pm User: Melissa from Narberth, PA User Rating: We love this!!! If you want to impress, this is it! I make this at least once a season, and especially love it in the fall. Do NOT miss out on these flavors! |
