My family enjoyed this smoothie. Using frozen fruit is a plus since it is not dependent on seasonal berry prices and can be made anytime of the year. I used vanilla flavored yogurt which required just a touch of honey. One suggestion, make sure you peel the banana before you freeze it - duh!

great!

I would give it 5 star if the frozen banana was easy to peel and slice. How could you peel and slice a frozen banana? It was hard like an ice cube. Next time I will try to make it with a fresh banana or peel and slice it before I freeze it.

Looks Great!

Very easy and tasty, the one downfall is the overwhelming bannana flavor. Thats really all you can taste.

I loved this easy recipe, especially the orange juice and honey tastes. I am not an orange juice drinker but it adds a great flavor to the smoothie.

I liked this recipe. You can taste the orange juice in it, so next time I make it, I'll put in less. Other than that it was great!

This is a delicious snack or breakfast that will fill you up! I use 1% milk and non-fat vanilla yogurt, but you would never know it from the taste. I normally use frozen cherries or strawberries with peaches and have used fresh or frozen bananas with the same results. The fresh squeezed OJ makes a difference as does the honey. Yummy!

I made my smoothie with frozen blueberries, strawberries, peaches, black cherries, and raspberries. I did 1/2 a cup of plain yogart, 2 splashes of milk, and 1/2 cup of half calorie orange juice. I didn't add any sugar. This all took less than a min to blend. It was VERY yummy.

Not only is this recipe so easy, it is so delicious! If you like strawberry shakes, you'll love this! I used 1 3/4 strawberries and 1/4 cup raspberries. I also used only 2 tablespoons of honey. There is just enough banana taste to it that it is not over powering but you can tell that it's in there. As for the serving size, I think this is a true serving for 2 people. I also think that this would make a wonderful light brakfast or lunch meal.

use as a guideline for smoothies

I just use this as a basic recipe. It's great with or without the yogurt. And I usually use a mix of strawberries, raspberries, and blueberries (no banana).

I changed the recipe a little. I used green grapes, honey dew melon, peaches, apple juice, lime juice, ice and mint leaves that I washed and tore in pieces. Didn't use any milk or ice cream. I was very happy and it tasted kinda mello with some tang.
