This is a great, quick, and easy tip. I never thought of microwaving bacon, but this technique produces crispy, perfectly flat strips. It soaks up most of the fat in the paper towels and no greasy mess to clean up! You can prepare your bacon the night before and have a quick and easy breakfast out of the fridge and into the microwave in just minutes. Also great for those on a low-carb. diet. Thank you Rachael Ray for this recipe.

AWESOME tip!!!

I tried this and it worked completely awesome! Every piece of bacon was evenly cooked and laid flat which is great when using the bacon on sandwiches. Maybe it isn't a recipe but I am glad you put this here because I couldn't remember how long to cook it ;o). Thanks.

I overcooked my bacon, the recipe said 6 minutes to 10 minutes and I remeber Rachel saying 4 was good enough.....so I did six and that was not a good idea....otherwise, if you like crunchy bacon then it was good!

good

You can tell that the fat is gone! I would only use for sandwiches.

I just realized that maybe I can even heat up "sammys" in the microwave. All this time I thought it was to store stuff!

This is BRILLIANT. I bet you could microwave things like soup, too. You just put it in there and it cooks. Amazing.
