I have made this over english muffins instead of the fried tomato's too. The hollandaise is delicious, and it is a beautiful presentation. Poaching the egg is the hardest part!

Yummy!!!

I have not made this dish but it sounds delicious. I had to comment on the stupid review from uneducated Kelly from Spokane (allergic has two L's Einstein). I don't care that you found out that you were allergic to eggs, what does that have to do with Paula or the recipe? Is it her fault you are so stupid?

I had guest in from the south and I cooked this recept for the morning wake up and even the kids ate them and did not know they were green tomatoes. Suggestion: have at least 6 large green tomatoes on hand. I did not.

Very easy and flavorful. The fried green tomatoes really give this dish that little "extra" flavor.

I made these last summer with fresh green tomatoes for my husband's family. They were part of Sunday brunch. They flipped for this dish!!!! It is now requested on a regular basis. A little labor intensive, but SOOOOO worth it!!

My family LOVED this for brunch. It is requested every time my in-laws come to visit. We had Paula's Shrimp and Grits the day before and had some left over gravy and used that as well instead of the hollandaise. It was fabulous!!!!!
