Great slaw! 07/19/2007 at 09:40pm User: LEIGH from Chicago, IL User Rating: This poppy seed dressing was the perfect balance of tart and sweet! I've been searching for a cole slaw dressing like this forever. You can save yourself some time by using the bagged prewashed slaw mix. Then all you need to hand chop are the apples and onions. I only had red onions in my house, but they working fine. Also, an earlier review was right about the amount of poppy seeds; 1/4 of a cup was plenty. apple coleslaw 07/13/2007 at 11:32pm User: Fred from Burlingame, CA User Rating: It was very good. But, I personally think that it could use a little more honey and less salt. Yum 07/01/2007 at 04:21pm User: Anonymous User Rating: Great for a picnic. Amazing dressing 03/30/2006 at 09:29am User: Jennifer from Lansing, MI User Rating: This coleslaw dressing is the best I've ever tasted, and I didn't even use the poppy seeds. The coleslaw is especially great on turkey burgers, but the dressing can be used on almost any kind of salad, especially those using fresh or dried fruit. EXCELLENT! Best Ever! 02/22/2006 at 02:37pm User: Jeanne from Tucson, AZ User Rating: This is the best coleslaw recipe ever! Sweet and creamy. The Poppyseed dressing is out of this world! I use it in many other salads as well. I use a little less than 1/4 cup poppyseeds however, and that's more than enough. This is a huge hit every time I make it. Beware though, it makes ALOT! More like 10-12 servings than 6-8. Not bad, but not great. 01/22/2006 at 03:09pm User: Anonymous User Rating: Coleslaw with apples. yippee. This recipe is an exercise in mediocrity.
