Even my kids loved it! diiferent, but a little dry 04/19/2007 at 10:02am User: Heather from Orlando, FL User Rating: The ham dried out alittle. Could have used a sauce Who Can't Count? 04/18/2006 at 03:27pm User: NANCIE from Big Timber, MT User Rating: I loved this recipe. It is very tasty and looks special. It's easy and quick. I prepped mine the day before, but I won't do that again. It would have been better made the same day. I'm surprised that no one has mentioned that the quantity of prosciutto slices doesn't jive with the directions. You would need 16 slices of prosciutto to double up like the directions say. It's good anyway. I will make this again. Easy and very tasty. 04/18/2006 at 07:26am User: Anonymous User Rating: I made this for Easter and my family raved about it. I used thin asparagus spears so I only blanched them a minute instead of 4 minutes. I also decreased the salt slightly because the prosciutto is salty. The bread crumb mixture is easy and delicious and can be used for so many other dishes so I made double. It was a hit 04/17/2008 at 08:30pm User: Tricia from Costa Mesa, CA User Rating: Made this dish for easter and the compliments poured in..... Okay 04/17/2006 at 08:00pm User: Michael from Maple Grove, MN User Rating: I tried this over Easter. It was just okay. Relatives liked it just fine but nobody raved or asked for the recipe. I really like asparagus but think that plain asparagus with salt and pepper sprinkled with feta is just as good. easy and impressive 04/16/2006 at 03:22pm User: Anonymous User Rating: nice to make for friends. very easy and it's really worth seasoning the breadcrumbs- it's so easy. Delicious! 04/15/2005 at 04:09pm User: Anonymous User Rating: Delicious! I serve these when I entertain - for presentation, taste, & easy. But, I even serve these now for dinner @ least twice a month. These are also wonderful with cheese (fontina, brie, gorgonzola, provolone, mozzarella, etc) inserted along w/the prosciutto. Thank you, Michael. The whole package 04/13/2006 at 08:25pm User: Lisa from Sunland, CA User Rating: This was a great dish. It was a great presentation and it tasted great. Everyone was impressed with the dish and could not stop talking about it. Nice and light 04/10/2006 at 06:50pm User: Anonymous User Rating: This was really great, and everone loved it. I used virginia ham instead of prosciutto, and it turned out fine. The toping was delicious, and could probably work well as a topping for all kinds of dishes. Look great and is so easy! 04/10/2005 at 05:40pm User: AMANDA from Bloomington, IL User Rating: This has become a new family favorite at holidays! It is so easy to put together and looks very impressive. If you don't have time to make the seasoned bread crumbs every time, try dusting with fresh shredded parmesan - great flavor combo! Delicious 04/10/2005 at 03:16pm User: JOAN from Bondurant, IA User Rating: This was very delicious and sooo easy. It's becoming a family favorite. Excellent veggies! 04/03/2005 at 02:50pm User: SUNNY from Tampa, FL User Rating: I also rolled some gorgonzola cheese in between the asparagus bunches for added taste. Super recipe! A Great Side Dish - or Dinner! 03/30/2007 at 07:34pm User: Anonymous User Rating: I made this a few days ago...I only used one piece of prosciutto per bundle because it is pretty salty. It was marvelous...my husband, who is as picky as the day is long had seconds...a wonderful spring dish, but you could make anytime with the availabilty of asparagus in supermarkets! I made with marinaded, grilled flank steak and oven roasted red potatoes with basil. Very Good 03/29/2007 at 05:56pm User: Alex from Lebanon, KY User Rating: I substituted ham for proscutio (I live in a small community and some items are hard to come by). Tasted Delicious! Looks good 03/29/2007 at 09:13am User: Anonymous User Rating: Too salty for my taste, but makes a nice presentation, don't think I would make it again. tasty 03/26/2005 at 03:34pm User: Anonymous User Rating: good flavor, especially the bread crumbs. This recipe has to be a rating of off the chart then. I love this stuff and it is so professional looking and impressive. Food Network has made my cabinets, frig, freezer and the whole kitchen TOO SMALL! I've taken to shopping and spending more on food than clothes...is there something wrong with that picture? Watch the salt! 03/14/2005 at 10:51am User: ANDREA CORRENTI from Coronado, CA User Rating: And I love salt. This was delicious, however, proscuitto can be salty. Ditto if you are using seasoned bread crumbs as I did. Better to make your own as the recipe specifies.
