A huge hit 12/22/2006 at 08:47am User: Melissa from Piemont, SC User Rating: Everyone at my daughters birthday loved this. I had a fajita bar, salad, and this corn. Everyone raved. And it is pretty easy though making a dozen does take a little time. I think I will make 4 or 6 just for a family dinner next time but I will make this time and again. This is the tastiest corn on the cob I have ever eaten; I could have eaten a dozen. Tyler is the best, he makes everything look so easy, almost as easy as it acually is. This guy is the greatest. I am a huge fan of everything he does on his How To Boil Water show. Kudos. Was a little hesitant at first but the mayo and cheese were very good. howtoboilwater 06/14/2004 at 06:37pm User: Anonymous User Rating: good Warning: Fire hazard! 06/12/2005 at 08:27pm User: Anonymous User Rating: I've just tried this recipe tonight. One of the corn husk fell and touched the oven's heating element and it got caught on fire. Luckily, I was in the kitchen and was able to put the fire out. Eventhough I'm a huge fan of Tyler(had tried his other recipes and loved them), I will not be cooking corn this way again. Still shaken. Just as promised 06/11/2004 at 12:31am User: DIANE from Yorktown Heights, NY User Rating: Very tastey! Gets 5 stars for corn flavor. Tyler hits the bullseye once again. Corn not done. 05/31/2008 at 07:58pm User: Anonymous User Rating: I cooked the corn as directed; about 20 minutes but it was no where near done. I tried another 15 min at 400 degrees but it still was not done. Ended up cooking it in boiling water. Easy and Great 05/30/2005 at 03:24pm User: CYNDI from waxhaw, NC User Rating: My mom has been telling me that you have to boil corn with milk for years. Mine never comes out that great, so I usually by frozen. I made this yesterday for a block party and although most just used plain butter it was great. I pulled down the husks and knotted them at the bottom for a great handle. The only problem is that there was not enough. I think this will be the way I make corn from now on. My mom will have to try to teach my daughter how to boil corn with milk and water. verrrrry good 05/30/2005 at 09:49am User: BENITA from Southold, NY User Rating: putting them on an outdoor grill was perfect-although the butter & salt lovers didn't try the mayo & parmagian, those that did loved it. Best Corn Ever 05/27/2007 at 11:09pm User: JILL from Toms River, NJ User Rating: This corn is fabulous. Mix the cayenne into the mayonnaise to save a step. Make sure your family/guests squeeze some lime over the corn - it makes the dish! Crowd Pleaser 05/23/2007 at 07:16pm User: Anonymous User Rating: I am a "northerner" living in SC. I had born and raised "Charlestonians" telling me my pulled pork was better than their mama's! Not my favorite... 03/05/2007 at 10:39am User: Gina from Apollo Beach, FL User Rating: This was a strange combination. I wanted to try it for something different, however I prefer grilled corn on the cob with butter and salt. Favorite! 01/08/2008 at 09:41am User: Courtney from Pearland, TX User Rating: I added a little bit of light sour cream with the mayo to lighten it up a bit and it was EXCELLENT! One of our favorites!! |
