not quite there 10/28/2006 at 06:10pm User: Nicole from Kent, WA User Rating: I love lobster, I love avacados, but this recipe just does not work. The tortilla has to go, and in no way is this a sort of dish that is quick and easy to "whip up." Tying them with the chives takes too long, and not worth it in the end. Great Lobster Wrap 08/21/2007 at 08:20am User: Mary from Mendon, NY User Rating: Very quick and easy. Great for lunch at work. Lobster rolls 07/30/2007 at 10:06am User: Anonymous User Rating: A little messy. Could be my own fault. good!!!!! 07/27/2006 at 09:48pm User: Anonymous User Rating: LOVED THESE! This show has great semi-homemade recipes. Keep up the good work! Blah Humbug! 07/24/2006 at 01:10pm User: Anonymous User Rating: Wish I had seen these reviews before I wasted some big bucks on lobster meat! I totally agree about the tortilla -- that's got to go. And it does, in fact, fall to pieces if you try to tie it with a chive. Plus chives are expensive!! The filling was OK. I ennded up using about twice as much dressing as called for. Not Impressed 07/19/2006 at 03:01pm User: Anonymous User Rating: After all the comments about the wrap falling apart, I decided to serve this as a salad course over butter lettuce. The filling was very, very dry and on it's own had relatively little taste. I had hoped to only lightly dress the salad with a vinaigrette but I ended up having to douse each plate with a large volume of dressing to make it moister and taste better. Lobster Wraps 07/18/2006 at 03:23pm User: Sue from Ithaca, NY User Rating: I thought the wraps were very refreshing and easy to make. I used tortillas for the leftovers the next day. Very Good DISASTER 07/18/2006 at 02:21pm User: Anonymous User Rating: The filling went all over the living room when everyone who ate one had it fall apart. A huge mess to clean up. magnificent 07/16/2006 at 12:45pm User: Anonymous User Rating: and so easy! These taste so good. I've made them with tortillas and also stuffed pita bread with the filling. Great either way! This lobster will keep you going 07/12/2006 at 05:05pm User: Anonymous User Rating: Through marathon internet posting sessions! This is great with fresh lobster too 06/20/2006 at 12:52am User: Anonymous User Rating: I've tried it both ways. The filling is absolutely scrumptious. gourmet quesadillas 06/19/2006 at 11:29pm User: Anonymous User Rating: Making these wraps and serving them to my family make me feel like I was a chef at a gourmet restaurant. They are wondrously delish...thx so much. I am going to use this recipe as appetizers at my next party and I can't wait. Cut into fifths though. This recipe 06/19/2006 at 11:12pm User: Anonymous User Rating: is just excellent. Thanks for it! Lobster Wraps 06/19/2006 at 10:55pm User: Anonymous User Rating: These wraps are marvelous. Highly recommended. so good 06/19/2006 at 10:41pm User: Anonymous User Rating: This is a filling worth making again and again and I loved it in the tortillas. It would be great in pita bread too. decadent wraps! so delish 06/19/2006 at 10:26pm User: Anonymous User Rating: I used toothpicks to hold mine together until serving. They kind of helped 'mold' the wrap into place. I like that idea for chicken wraps below. Gonna try that too!!! poorman wrap 06/12/2006 at 11:09pm User: Anonymous User Rating: Lobster not available, grilled chicken breast, marinated in lemon and pepper and used it instead of lobster, It was a hit!! Just OK 06/10/2006 at 11:31am User: Anonymous User Rating: The filling tasted ok but the tortilla broke apart all over the place. Fell apart 06/09/2006 at 04:47pm User: Anonymous User Rating: Like everyone else says, this falls apart right away and the tortilla is a bad container for the fresh-tasting lobeter salad. Serve it on butter lettuce leaves. Ans try using a bit more salt and dill to perk it up some. They weren't that bad 05/04/2006 at 03:13pm User: Anonymous User Rating: Personally, we thought the filling was incredibly yummy. They did fall completely apart, though. Plus (lesson learned) the tortilla didn't taste good with the lobster. Those last two are the only reason this doesn't get 5 stars. These were bad 05/04/2006 at 12:15pm User: Anonymous User Rating: They fell apart and made a mess, plus they didn't even taste that great. Thanks a lot. Hated it 04/07/2006 at 08:02pm User: joyce from Pheonix, AZ User Rating: Didn't taste fresh sooo good 03/12/2007 at 06:26pm User: Anonymous User Rating: these lobster wraps are perfect finger/picnic food. i served them at a baby shower and got numerous requests for the recipe. delish! Great and Quick 03/08/2007 at 05:39pm User: Anonymous User Rating: Easy way to do something special Fell Apart 01/23/2006 at 02:27pm User: Anonymous User Rating: This recipe needs to be rethought. It totally fell apart. Lobster burittos are just good! 01/23/2006 at 01:29am User: Anonymous User Rating: Way better than bean and cheese burittos! :) This filling really was good. Thanks for the great recipes. excellent idea 01/22/2006 at 08:16pm User: Anonymous User Rating: great recipe. I haven't tasted something this good in days :) highly recommended! 01/19/2006 at 06:49pm User: Anonymous User Rating: This is an awesome recipe! Lobster burritos are just silly 01/19/2006 at 12:02pm User: Anonymous User Rating: Who would waste expensive lobster in a burrito, for goshsakes? Forget the tortilla and do what some of the others have suggested. Use the excellent lobster filling to top some nice greens, or brioche toast or cucumber rounds. A tortilla is the wrong accompanyment to the filling. P.S. make extra filling, as people will want seconds! gourmet burritos! YUM! 01/18/2006 at 07:16pm User: Anonymous User Rating: These are so so good. Very special. I rolled them like pinwheels instead of cones the first time, and the second time made them like burritos. Either way you get gourmet burritos or gourmet appetizers the easy way!! easy 01/17/2006 at 01:04pm User: Dena from cincnnati, OH User Rating: very easy and tasty We had to use toothpicks 01/14/2006 at 03:02am User: Anonymous User Rating: This is an awesome awesome awesome filling! Loved the filling 01/13/2006 at 11:59am User: Anonymous User Rating: But unless you use only a tiny bit of it in the tortilla, the chive cannot hold the wrapped tortilla together. Might be better madeinto bite sized appetizers with wonton wrappers. Not good at all. 01/12/2006 at 07:06pm User: Anonymous User Rating: It falls apart like an old heat-lamp Big Mac that's been sitting out too long. Fell apart on me 01/12/2006 at 11:43am User: Bob from Troy, NY User Rating: What a mess! fantastic! 01/12/2006 at 12:41am User: Anonymous User Rating: These were decandently delish. Not an everyday lunch for sure, but so nice for a special occasion. The tortillas were the perfect wrap for the lobster concoction, and the chives held it together perfectly! Just make sure you cut them small enough. wraps 01/07/2006 at 02:46pm User: dyanna from cleveland, OH User Rating: Very good at first I did'nt think it would work but it was faboulous!!!!!! super good! 01/07/2006 at 03:38am User: Anonymous User Rating: I loved the addition of the cilantro caesar dressing! The lobster didn't hurt either! delicioso!!! 01/05/2006 at 02:46pm User: Anonymous User Rating: This is great with crab too. oohh la la 01/05/2006 at 01:23pm User: Anonymous User Rating: decadent!
