Light Easy & Delicious

This is so easy and so delicious. I topped it with mixed berries. The only thing I did differently was use Fat Free Vanilla Yogurt (Stoneyfield Farms brand) I also used 1/2 the amount of sugar and added 1 teaspoon vanilla. Since I always have these ingredients on hand, I will be making this often. Very healthy alternative to ice cream and other fat free desserts which are full of preservatives and artificial ingredients.

I've served this with Ina Garten's recipe for baked fruit, using Splenda in both the fruit & the sorbet. Having tasted the mixture prior to putting it into the ice cream maker, I feel it will be equally as good minus that extra step, using it as a meringue that hasn't been run under the broiler. Tonight we're having company and I plan to serve the unheated glossy meringue, again over the baked fruit (straight from a local farm).

I have made this recipes a number of times. It is delicious and healthy and if you want to make it even more so,try splenda. I have made it with flavored nonfat sugarfree yogurts. I simply exchnage the plain ones for flavors such as strawberry, lime and pina colada. Delicious! My entire family loves it.

This recipe is just wonderful , Taste great and has only 6 points (if doing weight watcher ) for the whole bowl. I had to make mine in the freezer by hand no ice cream mixer but it turned out just as great. good job!!!!!

Genuine Yogurt Taste

This is undoubtedly a healthy approach to dessert. The yogurt has a truly "yogurt" flavor, the only difference being that this is frozen. If you like the taste of unflavored yogurt, you will like this. I was a little disappointed with the grainy texture, but because it is a low fat dessert, which is a rather rare commodity, I will likely make it again since my family rated it as being "good" but not "great.

This recipe was ok, but needs a fruit topping. Will try it again with lemon or fruit flavored fat free yogurt to cover the plain yogurt after taste. Very easy to make just need a little embellishing.
