This way, the bacon was cooked to perfection at the same time as the shellfish. It took the bacon a little longer to crisp up than the recipe said, but it could be because I couldn't find center cut bacon so I had to use regular bacon, but it still took less than 30 minutes for the whole process. My husband was amazed. I like shrimp better than scallops so I only made shrimp, but either way would be great.The sesame oil gives it a really nice flavor and they look so professional. The bacon was soggy, and my shrimp overcooked. The scallops never browned either.
