sauce too thick

The sauce had a really good taste but was too thick. I think with less peanut butter and more liquid it could be better. I'm going to try tweeking it. I lightly floured chicken cubes and cooked them with sesame seeds in sesame oil to put on top. The chicken was very tastey if I do say so myself!

My boyfriend loved the sauce. I added some extra chile sauce that my friends gave me from guam, very spicy, and it ws just amazing. So easy.

This is an excellent dish even if you don't use chicken. The sauce is excellent over regular spaghetti noodles and has a nice heat to it if you add a little more crushed red pepper flakes.

Most awesome Asian Noodle Salad Ever!!!

It has a subtle but amazing kick to it and I am a big fan of cucumbers so it makes it that much better....and when the pasta dish is cold its taste is enhanced...and if you think the peanuts with the peanut sauce on the noodles is too much just leave out the dry roasted nuts....and it will still be just as amazin!!!!

Too overpowering

The flavor was complex and very strong. I couldn't even eat a cup of these noodles because it was heavy and the overpowering. I think the sesame noodles from 30 Minute Meals is better but doesn't have enough flavor. There's something in this recipe that needs to be ommited; either the ginger or garlic.

Fantastic, easy to prepare. Since I was cooking for kids as well, I cut back the red pepper to 1/4 tsp and there was still pleny of its flavor without the heat. Will definitely make this again as my husband raved for days about it!

I'm known for my not-so-great cooking skills. Although I stumbled through some of the instructions, this dish was delicious! The right taste and the right kick.

This was delicious. I made a few tweaks though...half the peanut butter, chile sauce instead of red pepper flakes, and added red peppers, toasted sesame seeds, and grilled chicken that I marinated in a teriyaki and brown sugar glaze....it was fabulous...my 7-year-old son even ate a huge bowl and loved it...i think next time I might add sugar snap peas as well...it was a wonderful, easy dish...

but not as good as: Aromatic Noodles With Lime Peanut Sauce, Ellie Krieger (also found on this website.) The peanut sauce is nice and the addition of cucuber makes it fresh. Although, I think I like Ellie's version better (especially since hers is vegetarian and am always looking for a great vegetarian recipe.)

This was such a great dish- loved by my non-picky husband, very picky 4 year old and 1 year old! Everyone was happy! I did substitute honey for the brown sugar... it gives it a more subtle sweetness that blends better with the other flavors of this dish than the starkness of the sugar does, and I also added a little extra soy sauce and crushed red pepper to balance out the peanut butter better and left out the ginger. Also, when I baked the chicken, I covered it in salt, pepper, a little bit of cayenne, and in the last 10 minutes in the oven I sprinkled sesame seeds on top and drizzled lightly with sesame oil. With a few minor adjustments, this one has become my husband's new favorite!

Yum!

Easy to make and full of flavor! The cucumber is a nice cool taste that contrasts with the spice of the sauce.
