My Favorite!

This is soooo easy, light, tasty and filling. My husband likes it and he is a meat and potatoes man. I serve it at least once a week. I find that the longer you leave the chicken in the lemon/oil, the better the flavor.

Great recipe

I found the chicken to be bland. I was really excited to try this recipe and I really just found it to be lacking flavor.

Bland & boring

Although the chicken was perfectly cooked, I could barely taste the marinade and I thought the pairing with the salad wasn't the best (the salad by itself wasn't that great either). At the end my wife looked at me and said "there are better chicken recipes." Sorry Iron Chef!

really easy!!

Kind of tasteless

I was excited to try this recipe because of all the good reviews. But I found it really ho-hum. The chicken didn't have a ton of flavor, so it was basically just a slightly more interesting grilled chicken breast on greens. Not really a delicious chicken paillard dish.

SO Simple and SOO Good!

This was a good dish, but I substituted the arugula for mixed greens. Very tasty in the summer!

We did like the salad. My husband said the chicken was good. I'll make it again because it was extremely easy to make and healthy but honestly, I thought it was a little on the bland side. I cut up the cooked chicken and put it on the salad for my portion, like it better mixed.

Great Taste

I made this recipe for some family and I was a little concerned because their tastes aren't very ecclectic. I was pleasantly surprised when everyone loved it. It was very easy, affordable, inexpensive and AWESOME. I highly recommend this dish.

Super Great Chicken!!!

This stuff was the greatest!!! I made for my mother's birthday dinner and it was a hit. Even the picky eaters loved it. I won't use quite as much vinegar on the salad next time (for personal taste) but the chicken was fabulous!!! Tomatoes make the salad; I should have used some sweet cherry tomatoes, not out of season grainy ones. Make sure to pound out your chicken OUTSIDE and wear full body protection. Maybe I haven't mastered the technique, but it makes quite the mess.

Great!

This was easy to make and tasted wonderful. The flattened chicken really helped the marinade saturate and shortened the cooking time a lot. It was wonderful!

I'm a college student and this was not only an incredibly affordable recipe it was also super quick/easy to make and tasted delicious. The chicken and salad went really well with the grilled goat cheese potato napoleons that were also from this episode.

Sorry Bobby, this one doesn't work. Not worth the effort. Bland, no flavor to speak of. And the salad was nothing to write home about. I've had better luck marinating chicken in bottled Italian dressing.

Great for a crowd as well

My first swag at this recipe was a 12-person birthday party for my father. I tripled the recipe. Big hit. I marinated the tomatoes in the oil/vinegar for 45 minutes and then while the breasts grilled on the second side I combined the arugula and tomatoes then sliced the breasts on a diagonal and placed a large helping of arugula-tomato on all the plates. Almost everyone asked for the recipe.

This marinade was so easy to make and had such a delicious flavor. It was very light and just perfect for a low fat life style. I will probably marinade it a bit longer next time. 30 minutes didn't seem to be enought.

Easy, fast and very flavorful. The lemon and shallots penetrated the chicken throughout and grilling complemented the flavors perfectly. Super for summer because it's light.
