I doubted the 375 degree temp, but thought I'd follow the recipe exactly. Next time I'll go with what I know and bake them at 350. Fan-tab-u-lous! 11/03/2005 at 01:54pm User: Christian from Woodside, NY User Rating: I love this recipe! It's easy, it's tastes soooooo good, and I can say that I made it from scratch. TO DIE FOR! Awesome Brownies 10/24/2005 at 11:18am User: Megan from Barnegat, NJ User Rating: These couldn't have been easier to make. I used Ghiradelli chocolate which made these come out really rich. Excellent recipe to make for family outings and for that special someone! Fantastic! 09/23/2005 at 10:31am User: Anonymous User Rating: The best brownies I've ever had. I didn't change a thing, except baked them in a 9 x 13 pan instead of the larger size and increased the baking time a bit. I still thought they could stand to be in a smaller pan to be thicker but they're moist and wonderful anyway. I ate about 4 out of the pan before storing them! Perfect Brownies 08/28/2007 at 01:52pm User: Sue from Salisbury, NC User Rating: Great recipe! I hate brownies that have a cake texture. These brownies are not only delicious but have they are nice and moist. Did I mention that they are easy to make. My whole family loves these. Delicious! 07/24/2006 at 05:31pm User: Anonymous User Rating: I made these for a party and they got rave reviews! Be careful though because they go quick and if you use good baking chocolate it might cost a little extra to make. But if you love baking, these are worth it! Excellent Fudgy Brownies ! 07/17/2005 at 09:26pm User: Anonymous User Rating: I took these brownies to a cookout today and they were a hit. The amount of coffee powder in the recipe does not make the brownies taste like coffee, it just adds depth of flavor; if you want your brownies to have a definite coffee flavor, you might want to add more espresso powder as a previous reviewer suggested. Chocoholic's Dream 05/02/2008 at 02:58pm User: Ashley from Coppell, TX User Rating: This recipe creates a great super fudgy brownie. As a pastry chef I love how quick and easy this recipe is. I use a slightly smaller pan so the brownies are thicker, but a great recipe. Use 2 Tsp of Instant Coffee ! 04/17/2005 at 08:59pm User: SHERRI from new york, NY User Rating: Good recipe ! Always very fudgy...perhaps a few more minutes of cooking is needed ! The first time I made these I used 1 tsp of Instant Coffee..can't taste it...tried 2 tsp this time- way better ! tastey!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! 04/02/2006 at 08:37am User: Anonymous User Rating: AWSOME!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! A definite crowd pleaser... 03/27/2006 at 10:12pm User: Anonymous User Rating: I baked these for my classmates. Here is an actual comment from one of my classmates: "This brownie is delicious. Thank you so much. I think that I must look ridiculous, the way I am enjoying its chocolaty goodness." Note: I did increase baking time to 30 minutes, using 13 by 9 baking pan. Super-choco-goodness 03/12/2007 at 03:02pm User: Christine from Croton-on-Hudson, NY User Rating: Okay, I add a little more chocolate and coffee to this, and its great great great! Great brownies 02/14/2005 at 12:52pm User: Anonymous User Rating: This is a graet recipe. You should try it. Very good 02/10/2006 at 11:03pm User: Anonymous User Rating: The brownies came out excellent, everyone loved them. Try substituting applesauce or bananas for the eggs, to lower fat content. BLECH! 01/29/2006 at 10:01am User: Anonymous User Rating: 20 minutes to cook these brownies? I kept them in the oven for 30 minutes and they were still mushy and sticky and gross. I believe there's no such thing as a bad brownie, until now. Would not make again. perfect & easy! 01/28/2006 at 12:08pm User: Anonymous User Rating: first time making brownies from scratch, i'm not sure i'll go back to using a box! These were super easy to make and came out perfect! Followed the recipe exactly...wouldn't change a thing! Light, moist & delicious 01/26/2006 at 12:01pm User: KRISTA from Bend, OR User Rating: These brownies are awesome! Easy to make, not super dense and very moist and chewy like a brownie should be. Highly recommend this recipe. I left out the mocha part and they were still scrumptious. More coffee! 01/21/2006 at 06:33pm User: Anonymous User Rating: I used a 9x13" pan with these brownies and they turned out great. They weren't too thick, nor too thin. I added at least twice the amount of coffee called for in the recipe for a delicious, dark brownie. I recommend you serve it with cherry vanilla ice cream. Yum! DELISH! 01/08/2007 at 03:10pm User: Anonymous User Rating: I would cut the cooking time down maybe by 3-5 minutes next time but they are VERY good! |
