This is a wonderful recipe. I liked it even better ... I put honey on some of them and others I put a thin icing on(drizzled). It went over very well with the jams and jellies.

Perfect proportions!

The proportions are just right for a great biscuit recipe. I do not cut them into sticks. I cut them into 2 1/2 inch biscuits. I use 5 tablespoons shortening for a base biscuit for a rich meal. I add more shortening or butter when I want a richer result. Great recipe!

Excellent, easy to put together in a flash. I used heavy cream (leftover from another recipe) and it made them even better than my grandmother's biscuits!
