Just OK...something missing...

This dish was OK; nothing spectacular...I have had veal chops with peppers in several restaurants and this fell far short of the flavor of those....the dish lacked depth of flavor...almost like there was something missing....will try to find a better recipe...

I invited friends over and I cooked this dish. Instead of veal chops is substituted pork chops and the dish was outstanding. This is not a dish I would cook everyday, but for special occasions its a real winner.

I made this sauce with chicken breast after reading the reviews and let me tell you that it goes well with chicken! It is also less expensive.

I thought this dish was very good. I wanted to try something new and this hit the spot! Next time, I'd like to try it with pork chops. I'm a big fan of Rachael's and so far,have not been disappointed!

I agree that the wine and pepper sauce overwhelmed the delicate flavor of the veal chops - I could have used canned tuna and it would have tasted about the same.

I tried this even though I had never seen a recipe using veal with such strong flavors. The peppers completely overwhelmed the veal and I could have just used chicken in this dish!

I really wanted to try this one, but was diappointed with the result. The peppers just overwhelmed the veal chops, which were on the expensive side. I won't be making this dinner again.

This turned out great! The sauce was really nice and will use it for other dishes in the future. i thought that the veal was really expensive ($11 per lbs.) I will try this again but with some thick pork chops instead. Thanks Rachel .
