My kids, 6 and almost 5, had a blast making these chicken toes. It made a HUGE mess, though. They were tasty and the kids really liked them and were proud of themselves, especially when Dad and big brother bragged on them! It won't be hard to get them back in the kitchen.

My daughters are 5 and 7 and they had a blast making these chicken toes. It took way more than it should have to bread all the chicken but they were laughing the entire time. Also, it's always easier to make kids eat something new when they helped to make it.

Okay, I gave 2 stars because they were pretty easy and the kids enjoyed making them. But with everything that went into making them...you would think they would have some sort of taste! You will need sauce for these for some sort of flavor.

This is a wonderful recipe! It is so easy too!! My kids and nephews absolutely love this!! They call it MOMS (AUNT DAWN'S) HOME MADE CHICKEN NUGGETS! It is also great with home-made mashed potatoes with cheddar cheese and sour cream and a side of either green beans or brocolli!! Wonderful recipe Rachael Ray!!!!!

This was the first of Rachel's recipes that I have made and it was excellent! It was super easy to do and I made up a quick meal for my boyfriend and he loved them! It was a great blend of flavors and definitely a nice change from regular chicken tenders! I would definitely recommend this recipe!

We thought the chicken toes were great! Even my two picky boys, ages 8 and 6, loved them! Instead of plain bread crumbs, I used Italian bread crumbs. I think that the allspice gave it a unique flavor. They were very addictive! I would make them again!

I made chicken fingers using Rachael's recipe. I substitued Italian bread crumbs for regular (because that was what I had), and I omitted the sugar (because I don't like things too sweet), and it turned out great. Lightly crunchy on the outside and juicy on the inside. Will be making this again, soon.

My 10-year old niece and I made these for a Christmas eve buffet. They were an absolute hit! Everyone - kids and adults alike - loved them. They also lasted well on the buffet. I did use panko bread crumbs instead of the regular bread crumbs. The panko crumbs gave the chicken pieces a little extra crunch. P.S. my 6-year old niece (who thinks she hates mustard) loved the dipping sauce! I just didn't tell her the ingredients.

The recipe is written for a child to follow, which is sort of cute. I figured if a kid could make it, so could I! It was pretty easy to make. The chicken came out very tender in the oven. Unfortunately, it had ZERO flavor. Maybe it needed seasoned bread crumbs rather than plain- I don't know. All I know is that I won't make it again. In fact, I do not have much luck with RR's recipes- I find they turn out either bland or with too much spice. Definitely not "de-lish".

My 5-year-old granddaughter and I had fun making these. They are not only very kid-friendly to make, but also the kind of food kids like to eat. I thought the sauce was pretty good, also, however, my family decided they preferred our standard homemade honey-mustard dip without the addition of the BBQ sauce.

The sweetness (brown sugar) and allspice surprised my son, after a brief adjustment period he made friends with the "new flavors" in his chicken fingers (toes)and enjoyed them. No ingredients for dipping sauce at home. Subbed "Salsa Lisa" Mild Pineapple Ginger Salsa. It was a righteous combination with the allspice in the chicken toe crust.

I didn't have corn flakes, so I used Panko bread crumbs. I omitted the allspice. The cooking time was longer for us, closer to 20-25 min. and they didn't get really brown, but they were tasty and easy. The kids helped and all decided that we would eat these again!

I took this recipe for the first try and used boneless chicken thighs (whole) instead of chopped pieces of breast meat. Also, I made a very dry breading using the corn flakes, bread crumbs, all spice and brown sugar (omitted the oil)and did everything else as planned....PERFECT, kids ate two whole thighs each (when normally they might split one between them) and asked for more - Grown ups made sure there were no leftovers!

I watched this show with my two 10 year old boys. We thought it looked good so we made it later that day. They loved it! What they were most entertained by was the little boy on teh show with Rachel, Beachamp. We now call this meal, The Beachamp Special. Seriously. I think this will be one of our stand by recipes!

These were so easy to make. I didn't have Cornflakes so I used Rice Krispies instead and they turned out delicious. My husband and 2 kids all loved them. We liked the hint of sweetness to it. The chicken was tender and not dried out. Definitely a keeper.

I can understand how some people might think that this recipe is a little too sweet for their taste, but I have no idea how some might say that it lacks flavor. And if it's a little too sweet for you (though I think it's perfect just the way it is), just use a little less sugar. Anyhow, the bbq/honey mustard sauce goes perfect with this chicken which is so easy to make that even my husband (who's cooking skill is about as high as a 7-year-old's) can cook it! I love this recipe!

This is by far, like my favorite dish on a Friday, me and my kids all decide to skip school -we are homeschooled and did extra work a day ago- and this was great! It takes just a little long to make... but other then that this is the best dish I think I have had, its sweet its chruncy its tangy, and we didn't have any more dishes left over, yay me! :) I really think you should try this it rocks so much also, after seeing how good that day it was I instead of all spice we tried some of this garlic bread stuff you sprinkle on garlic bread the company that makes it is "Johnnys" it was good but not as great as this thing tasts! this is like heaven, only strangley I guess heaven is inside food, who knew?! also, 2 other things that taste great with this are... Strawberry Sorbet and... Garlic Bread (Here is the link to the bread http://www.foodnetwork.com/food/recipes/recipe/0,,FOOD_9936_16239,00.html) so yeah, please try this you wont be disappointed, Im just like an every day person like you not someone who is just trying to get you to buy something or eat something or try something... The measurements of ingredients was off. The recipe called for 1 1/2 lbs of chicken. I used 1 pound and the same amount of other ingredients. Taste wasn't all there. Ran out of flour and egg. Was fun to make. My 9 year old really enjoyed it.

This is a great recipe. My kids ask for it often. My only suggestion would be to bake them on a rack rather than directly on the baking sheet so the bottom gets crisp as well. It's a keeper!

My 1yr. old son and I are picky eaters. I just thought they had no flavor at all. Perhaps marinating the chicken before hand will make all the difference. I wouldn't let this review stop you b/c they were fun to make. Please understand that everyone's taste is different. I would definitely make them again with my own twist.

This recipe was very easy to make-a little messy, but not too bad. My kids liked it. The chicken was very moist inside. I took the leftovers and added red gravy and cheese and had chicken parmesean the next night.

I really liked this. The chicken came out crispy and delicious. Mixing the oil in the breadcrumbs instead of actually frying is such a good idea - there's no stove mess and so much less oil is needed. Really crafty.

My family loved these chicken toes! However, we were all caught off guard with our first bite. Up until then, all chicken toes had pretty much tasted the same. But this coating flavor is exceptional! You get sweet, salty, spicy all together. They were nice and crunchy and the chicken stayed so moist. I'll be making these again!

My daughter LOVED making these and I must say they were pretty good! A bit sweet with the breading and the sauce (the sauce was way too sweet for me) but as weird as this sounds they were really yummy with yellow mustard, it really cut down on the sweetness. My kids loved this chicken! After watching Rachel prepare this on TV, my 5 year old daughter wanted to try. She had fun crushing up the cornflakes and mixing the ingredients. We found the thinner the chicken before breading, the tastier it was after baking (more crunchy, sweet breading in each bite). We'll remember to do that next time.

I made these with my six-year-old last night, who generally would prefer his food be put in front of him as a fait accompli than be involved in the cooking process. But once he realized the recipe involved crushing and dunking, he was hooked! By the time we finished the kitchen looked like a hydrogen bomb had hit it, but we were both smiling and had delicious, healthy chicken "toes" for dinner. And as a final touch, we tuned in to Rachael after dinner, and she was preparing the recipe herself with her six-year-old cohort! We had a great time comparing notes. Thanks Rachael!
