I have made this three separate times for different groups of people and they all rave and want the recipe. I don't actually make the rafts, I just cook them straight on the grill making sure to keep them opposite of the slats on the grill.

This side recipe is extremely easy to fix up, all ingredients most already have or are easy to get. Great addition to asian dishes and adds VERY good contrast when serving with bamboo themed dining.

I love this recipe! In about ten minutes I can enjoy my favorite grilled green. Even my kids like it. I tend to avoid the time and trouble of forming the rafts but the taste can't be beat.

Love the flavor combination of carmelized veggie with the oil and spices! And it's soooo easy to do this on the grill. Found that it wasn't necessary to soak for an hour - 20 minutes was enough for me.

If you love asparagus, you have to try this. We served it on a blue dish which really brought out the green in the asparagus and made for a wonderful presentation.
