This is more of a method than a recipe, and it is a very cute idea and cute outcome. If Rachael Ray can take a scoop of ice cream, add chocolate sauce and nuts and get good reviews, then this should get a good review as well. It is a great idea for entertaining.

I should hope that making sandwiches is "safe." As for the affordable part, obviously prosciutto is cheaper where you live.

A lot of waste with the cookie cutting and so forth. Cut the sandwiches into fours, more kid friendly for smaller hands. Plus, ham and cheese, heck, even bologna would be fine for kids, but proscuitto? Too much fuss, keep it simple...

These are good...nothing really special...could use ANY kind of meat as proscuitto is kinda pricey where I live...lol. Also, much better GRILLED!!!

Perfect lunch for our pumpkin carving afternoon with the grandkids. Our little "Count Dracula" will especially love it! May try this idea using a pumpkin cookie cutter with pumpkin bread and a orange cream cheese & chopped nut spread, too.
