Easy and wonderful flavor 12/26/2007 at 02:27pm User: Mike from Bradford, NH User Rating: My wife LOVES scallops in bacon. This was the best recipie I have tried. It came out perfect. She did say the side sauce was too hot, but then, she thinks ice is too hot. I thought it was perfect. Crowd Pleaser 12/25/2007 at 10:39pm User: Tom from St. Louis, MO User Rating: We tried this on ourselves before serving to guests. It melts in your mouth - perfect hit Tyler. This spicy mayo is now a new stock item in our refrigerator, we use it in place of regular mayo in almost every situation (bratwurst, sandwiches, etc...) Bravo!! Easy, elegant, and d-e-licious! 12/25/2006 at 04:14pm User: Michele from Ponte Vedra Beach, FL User Rating: This recipe was a snap to prepare. I had party guests asking for a spoon to eat the leftover spicy mayo. I couldn't make enough of these gems. Very Good 12/13/2005 at 06:19pm User: Jennifer from Monroeville, PA User Rating: My husband doesn't like scallops so I substituted the scallops with shrimp. It was great. The mayo was amazing. It looks a little weird when you are making it, but it tastes so good you forget. If anyone has ideas on what else you could put the mayo on, let me know. Thanks Tyler! Fantabulous!! 11/19/2007 at 10:42pm User: Anonymous User Rating: I just tried this recipe tonight for myself and my finicky 20 year old daughter....I used butter lettuce instead of bib lettuce and we BOTH loved it!!! The spicy mayo really is key to this and with the lettuce can be served as a meal!! This will go into my all time faves!! Thanks Tyler! awesome and easy 10/31/2005 at 03:53pm User: CATHERINE from thousand oaks, CA User Rating: This dish is so easy and so delicious! YUMMY and SATISFYING! 08/12/2005 at 01:32am User: Anonymous User Rating: I LOVED this recipe! The spicy mayo was SO yummy! Spicy and tasty 08/08/2005 at 02:32pm User: Anonymous User Rating: WOW, this is really spicy... very tasty, love the way the bacon complements the scallops! Not my taste 08/07/2005 at 08:17pm User: Anonymous User Rating: I don't know if my scallops were too big and therefore not sufficiently balanced by the bacon, or if I just don't like scallops (this was my first time eating them) but I did not like this at all. I was planning to make these for a party I'm throwing and thought I'd test them out first. Glad I did. I took them off the menu for the party. Easy and Delish!!!!!! 08/05/2005 at 06:37pm User: Anonymous User Rating: I saw thismade on the show, then I made it for dinner. It was so easy and didn't take much time. LOVED it. 08/03/2007 at 03:00pm User: Anonymous User Rating: The spicy mayo was REALLY spicy, but the whole dish was a huge hit at a party I threw. Amazing!!! 07/22/2007 at 12:41pm User: SHAWN from Redlands, CA User Rating: I made this for my husband last night. We loved it. He has high cholesterol and scallops are already pretty high, so I replaced the mayo with six onces plain non fat yogurt and a tablespoon of mayo. It was amazing. Yummy....Soo Good 07/12/2007 at 03:30am User: Julie from N. Las Vegas, NV User Rating: Was a huge hit with Family & friends! I always get a request for this dish! Awesome 05/27/2005 at 12:21am User: SARAH from las vegas, NV User Rating: Very excellent!!! I make this over and over again because it's so good. I'm so glad I found this recipe! Other uses for the mayo.... 05/24/2008 at 09:33pm User: Anonymous User Rating: Someone asked what else can be done with the mayo...I'd suggest using it on fish tacos (fried or grilled), grilled shrimp tacos, chicken sandwiches - use your imagination! You could also thin the recipe with more lime juice and use as a salad dressing over lettuce, fresh corn, black beans, avocado, and left over taco meat or chopped grilled chicken. YUMMY! Must Try! 05/16/2008 at 09:49am User: Maighdlin from San Antonio, TX User Rating: If you love spice, you will love this. All of the flavors compliment one another without being over-powering. They all blend together just perfectly. People say it tasted great! 04/30/2005 at 08:53am User: Anonymous User Rating: I don't eat seafood, but I made this for our housewarming party and for a couple's shower. People raved about how delicious the wrapped scallops were. I haven't made the sauce yet (ran out of time), but I'm sure it's delicious as well. Excellent!! 04/23/2007 at 12:03pm User: heather from simi valley, CA User Rating: Love this recipe! I even made a mango salsa to balance it out just in case the mayo was too spicy. What a mouthful!! 03/03/2005 at 04:17pm User: THERESA from White Hall, MD User Rating: This recipe was so easy and so satisfying. The spicy mayo made the dish! Thank you! This dish is good for those who are on a low carb diet Mmmmmmm 02/07/2005 at 03:46am User: DAN from Douglas, WY User Rating: Now, I'm not typically a big seafood fan. But watching this made on TV made me hungry, so I decided to throw it together. It is fast, easy and extremely tasty. I even enjoyed it, despite my distaste for seafood. My fiancee, more importantly, is a fan of seafood, and she loved it. This is a recipe that we can both enjoy. Definitely worth a look. What Shrimp? 01/29/2007 at 07:01pm User: Anonymous User Rating: What Shrimp? Simple yet Unique! 01/15/2007 at 03:56pm User: Anonymous User Rating: This gives a great twist on the classic! You have to try the spicy mayo. 5 star plus 01/13/2007 at 12:43pm User: Anonymous User Rating: This was outstanding served on a bed of baby spinach instead of the lettuce. Easy to prepare and as good as any scallop dinner at a top quality restautant. A hit at my New Years Eve party 01/09/2007 at 09:12pm User: Anonymous User Rating: I had to use frozen scallops, as fresh scallops were not available where I was shopping. They worked perfectly and were delicious. I made 40 and they were gone in about 10 minutes. Pretty bad 01/08/2006 at 07:11pm User: bryan from saugatuck, ME User Rating: bacon wrapped is un-necessary for scallops, bacon comes out cooked unevenly and takes WAY more than 15 min to be totally cooked. Scallops should be sauteed in butter, and lemon juice, at most adding crushed nuts for flavor. |
