My wife LOVES scallops in bacon. This was the best recipie I have tried. It came out perfect. She did say the side sauce was too hot, but then, she thinks ice is too hot. I thought it was perfect.

We tried this on ourselves before serving to guests. It melts in your mouth - perfect hit Tyler. This spicy mayo is now a new stock item in our refrigerator, we use it in place of regular mayo in almost every situation (bratwurst, sandwiches, etc...) Bravo!!

This recipe was a snap to prepare. I had party guests asking for a spoon to eat the leftover spicy mayo. I couldn't make enough of these gems.

My husband doesn't like scallops so I substituted the scallops with shrimp. It was great. The mayo was amazing. It looks a little weird when you are making it, but it tastes so good you forget. If anyone has ideas on what else you could put the mayo on, let me know. Thanks Tyler!

I just tried this recipe tonight for myself and my finicky 20 year old daughter....I used butter lettuce instead of bib lettuce and we BOTH loved it!!! The spicy mayo really is key to this and with the lettuce can be served as a meal!! This will go into my all time faves!! Thanks Tyler!

I don't know if my scallops were too big and therefore not sufficiently balanced by the bacon, or if I just don't like scallops (this was my first time eating them) but I did not like this at all. I was planning to make these for a party I'm throwing and thought I'd test them out first. Glad I did. I took them off the menu for the party.

I made this for my husband last night. We loved it. He has high cholesterol and scallops are already pretty high, so I replaced the mayo with six onces plain non fat yogurt and a tablespoon of mayo. It was amazing.

Someone asked what else can be done with the mayo...I'd suggest using it on fish tacos (fried or grilled), grilled shrimp tacos, chicken sandwiches - use your imagination! You could also thin the recipe with more lime juice and use as a salad dressing over lettuce, fresh corn, black beans, avocado, and left over taco meat or chopped grilled chicken. YUMMY!

I don't eat seafood, but I made this for our housewarming party and for a couple's shower. People raved about how delicious the wrapped scallops were. I haven't made the sauce yet (ran out of time), but I'm sure it's delicious as well.

at first I thought the combo of seafood and mayonnaise would be awful. but I tried it anyway and it was awesome. you could omit the lettuce if you wanted to and it would be just as good. I even made a mango salsa to balance it out just in case the mayo was too spicy.

Now, I'm not typically a big seafood fan. But watching this made on TV made me hungry, so I decided to throw it together. It is fast, easy and extremely tasty. I even enjoyed it, despite my distaste for seafood. My fiancee, more importantly, is a fan of seafood, and she loved it. This is a recipe that we can both enjoy. Definitely worth a look.

This was outstanding served on a bed of baby spinach instead of the lettuce. Easy to prepare and as good as any scallop dinner at a top quality restautant.

I had to use frozen scallops, as fresh scallops were not available where I was shopping. They worked perfectly and were delicious. I made 40 and they were gone in about 10 minutes.

bacon wrapped is un-necessary for scallops, bacon comes out cooked unevenly and takes WAY more than 15 min to be totally cooked. Scallops should be sauteed in butter, and lemon juice, at most adding crushed nuts for flavor.
