I substituted chicken instead of steak. Then I added yellow peppers, red peppers, bean sprouts, and soy sauce. My family was very happy!

It was just OK to me. DH liked it better than I did. We didn't find a chemical taste at all. Maybe it has to do with the brand of stir fry sauce. I used Kikkoman. I doubt that I'll make it again.

After making a couple of different stir frys over the past 3.5 years, they became quite routine and boring. The added oyster sauce, water chestnuts and grated ginger worked really well in giving an old favorite a great new bite. It was extremely easy for me to make even though I had almost constant interruptions from adults and a four year old while prepping and cooking it!

This is not one to try. Save yourself embarrasement if wanting to do stir fry in front of friends and STAY AWAY from this one. Clue #1: good stir fry recipes use corn starch Clue #2: good stir fry recipes use sesame oil

It didn't taste anything like stir fry to me. Just a nasty salty mess. Much easier and tastier to order in and it doesn't cost much more.

Stir fry seasoning packets are mostly MSG and salt. It made the food taste VERY salty. We much prefer the prepared stir fry sauces that are in our regular supermarket. They give great flavor without the saltiness.

I didn't know "stir-fry" seasoning even existed till now, I guess because I always go straight for the taco seasoning. Stir fry seasoning is good! It gives your stir fry lots of flavor in a good way in my opinion! The meat in this dish came out great too and the sauce the was fantastic. Serving this with rice is a must, because unlike other stir frys it renders lots of good sauce!!

Eveything about it came out perfect and it's very quick to make. The meat was tender, the veggies were crisp (I used fresh this time since I had them onhand), the flavor was amazing. What a great find.

In my family's opinion the convenience of making this recipe and the taste were equal slam dunks! The seasonings make this beef and veggie stir fry the most flavorful I've ever made. I don't care what chinese restaurants do, I just cared how my family liked this!

Did not taste like any chinese food we have ever had. Restaurants probably do not use those seasoning packets. Plus the vegetables were soft and mushy.

My family loved the taste the seasoning packet gave to the stir fry. Our meat was very tender, but I made sure to slice it thin and on a bias. I think cutting it that way works better for this prep.

The beef was too chewy and tough plus the whole thing tasted fuun with that stir fry seasoning packet. Did not taste anything like real chinese food.
