This is very delicious. The only thing I will change the next time I make it is use less garlic. I love garlic, but there's too much in this dish. It overwhelms it. Still great though!

Really good, and different!

really good, and different! also was easy to throw together, and you can leave some things out if you don't have them and it still tastes good. good for lunch

Really great recipe and the Curry tip was a nice touch. The basic sauce was great for other slaws as well.

I've never been a fan of carrot slaw because most I have had tasted like carrots with sugar and raisins. This recipe has great flavors that are well balanced. I am very impressed with this recipe and plan to make it often. Thanks Alton and Food Network for another great recipe!!

Very easy to make. I used low-fat mayonaise and perhaps that was the sticking point. I loved the garlic and pineapple but could do without the raisins. Not bad. Just not great.

The hardest part was peeling, peeling, and peeling BUT it was well worth the rewards. The curry powder and minced garlic make it a more grown up version. FABULOUS...thanks!!!

Delightful

This only gets better the next day or two ... well... if it makes it that long.

I left out the pineapple, garlic, and raisins, and it was perfect.

I think this is a very simple and delicious take on carrot raisin apple. The idea of making "carrot noodles" keeps the texture of the carrot and you don't end up with mush. Great job Alton.

surprisingly good!

I thought this would be okay, but I actually really, really loved it. I don't care much for carrots in general, but I like them in this salad. The constant peeling of 2 lbs of carrots was not particularly pleasant, but the result - the fun, noodle-like texture - actually made it worthwhile. I would totally make this again.
