Very good! 12/07/2006 at 06:29pm User: Emily from Troy, OH User Rating: This salad is one of the best Waldorf recipes I've ever used. Everyone really enjoyed it, and I'll be using it again for sure. It had a great fresh flavor. jaime 10/01/2007 at 09:39pm User: jaime from brookeville, MD User Rating: i really liked this salad, its something a little more fancy than just the regular greens, but be sure to go easy on the parsley, i'd say one tablespoon, rather than two, would do just fine. Not too bad 08/14/2007 at 10:49am User: joe from Reston, VA User Rating: I would try it again, but it wasn't great Delicious 07/27/2007 at 02:25pm User: Anonymous User Rating: Easy to make and always delicious Drop the honey... 07/18/2006 at 12:49am User: Justine from Warwick, RI User Rating: This recipe was summer meal prep in all its glory! Simple, healthy, light and delish. I did grill then cut-up some chicken breasts to make this a main course dish and so dropped the honey, which I really do not see in any other waldorf recipes anyway. My guests loved this alongside Sandra Lee's risotto and on my best china the meal really did look divine! kids loved it 06/26/2006 at 03:59pm User: katrina from wauconda, IL User Rating: I'm looking for different ways to get my kids to eat salad. they loved this. will be making this alot this summer. yum 05/19/2006 at 02:29am User: Anonymous User Rating: quick, easy, family pleasing. One of my mom's favorite dishes is Waldorf Salad. This was my first attempt and it was a big hit!! My mom said that it tasted just like when she was a child and her grandmother would make it on special occasions. dobes says 01/22/2007 at 12:07am User: Anonymous User Rating: I have not tried this recipe yet but it sound scrumptious Heart Healthy Winner! 01/09/2008 at 10:20pm User: Janet from St. George, UT User Rating: In keeping with our New Year's resolution to eat more healthy foods, I decided to try this salad in place of our usual Waldorf. We were very pleased with the results. I made it as indicated except that I didn't have any parsley (which my husband doesn't really like anyway). We all thought the salad was delicious - light and refreshing. I don't think I'll ever go back to the less healthy version. |
