This recipe is not authentic BAJAN I am Bajan , we do not use sweet spices such as nutmeg or cinnamon on our chicken. to say this is BAJAN is misleading

Leff out the cinnamon, allspice and cilantro, and you're *almost* there. This is NOT Bajan chicken! 100% Bajan here. Y'all complicate the food too much. Go to Barbados and have some Baxter's Road chicken. That is Bajan chicken.

Where did you get this recipe

I am wondering from where this recipe was taken because I am a "bajan" which references the caribbean island people of Barbados and this recipe hardly seems "bajan" to me. Did you guys add your own style to it? I am wondering.

Today is the 5th time I've made this recipe since that episode first aired. The smell alone is so amazing. I wish my kitchen could smell like this marinade all year round.

This was very easy to fix. The only thing I changed was that I BBQ'ed it on a charcoal grill. It turned out great !!!

I liked the addition of the bacon. Very attractive dish and, of course, the brussel sprouts were delicious. The sprouts I had were extremely large. I cut them in half and almost ended up by overcooking them. Little too soft for me, but I will pay more attention next time. This is a keeper.
