I use 1 large bunch chard, and only about 2 tablespoons onion, and 1/4 cup chicken broth, no nutmeg. Otherwise everything as recipe says. It is now one of my favorite recipes. Yummy!

This is a great vegetable to substitute for spinach with a fish dinner. The flavors compliment each other and the fish.

This was the first time I tried swiss chard and I loved the flavor of this dish and the texture of the wilted chard. Next time I will leave out all of the midrib since my husband did not like the crunchy bits in the chard. However, the stem does add a nice color if it is left in.

This was a very good recipe. I have always wanted to learn how to make greens and now I know. I was amazed that this turned out so good. I used spinach, and next time I think I will try a mixture of collard greens, mustard greens and spinach....yumm-o;) I thought it was a bit too much onion though. Next time I will use only half of that.

Family Surprise

"Greens" are the last frontier for my family in pursuing a varied and healthy diet. Everytime I mentioned them and/or tried them (ok, so the "tried them" was a bit limited as I did not grow up in a family that served them), my family would cringe. They were very surprised at how good this recipe was and this family of four had none left over at the end of the meal.

This was simple and very very good. I used spinach instead of the chard. I am familiar with spinach and my husband and I both like it, so I didn't want to take any chances with the swisschard, never used it. I'm glad Tyler mentioned using the spinach, or I never would have tried the receipe. Thanks.
