Wow! I was amazed at how terrific yet simple this recipe was! The flavors are not complex, but they are so great together--I love the idea of rubbing the tomato on the bread--it adds wonderful flavor. I used my George Foreman to grill the bread and it turned out great. Definitely try this recipe!

You obviously don't know how much tomato to put on your bread and overdid it. It's no wonder that you remain anonymous! The tomato added a nice touch to the garlic bread!

I didn't really like the huge thick slices of bread that Giada used so I cut mine a little smaller. Also, I think that I messed up the amount of garlic that is supposed to be on each slice. It didn't look like anything was transferring to the bread or that the garlic was melting so I REALLY rubbed it on the bread for a little while. Some pieces were almost spicy! Oh, and I didn't have a grill pan so I just did it in a skillet and it turned out fine! Overall, I don't think I made this recipe very well, but it was good enough to give a second try to!

I enjoyed this recipe and also found an excuse to use my new slotted seasoned grill that I got from Crate and Barrel for $24. The LA Times Food section mentioned was a best buy awhile back. This recipe is a quick a tasty way to make a grilled toasty flavorful bread that can go with many different dishes.

We finally broke away from the normal bread at dinner and tried this recipe. It was fast, easy easy, and really really wonderful! I have four kids, and they all kept remarking about how great this was, and there wasn't one crumb left over. Thanks Giada for another great recipe!

I love any kind of bread........and this recipe is a nice diversion from the usual garlic bread. I don't have a grill for my stove, so I used a cast iron skillet........worked great!

I made these for a baby shower I had in February, and everyone loved them. I love the crisp, buttery taste of the croissant with the warm cheese and salami. Plus they were so easy to make! I love Giada's recipes!

This is one of the easiest recipes = packed with SO MUCH flavor! It is simple, yet so flavorful. Accompanies rich pasta recipes well, as it does not overwhelm. This bread accentuates a delicious pasta meal without leaving you or your guests feeling miserable. Impressive!

this recipe was an absolute mess! It was disgusting! I don't even know why i tried it! Toasted bread rubbed with garlic - yummy. TOASTED bread rubbed with a sloppy sopping wet tomato - not so appetizing!It made the bread so wet and soggy that I couldn't finish it.
