Yum 11/13/2005 at 04:33pm User: LISA from Bloomfield, NJ User Rating: I was a bit scared of this recipe after I tasted the raw mustard greens and thought "yuck". But the end product was really great. You could serve this anytime of day, breakfast, lunch or dinner. I will make this again but will double the recipe. I baked it for about 35 mins. Try it, you'll love it. repaired southern 08/23/2007 at 10:32am User: J from New Orleans, LA User Rating: This simple recipe allows those with bad memories (and tastes in their mouths) to enjoy real goodness from the garden. Collard greens are especially good prepared this way. Excellent 08/10/2006 at 11:34am User: ALEX from atl, GA User Rating: this dish is very tasty and if you are a mushroom lover this is a great dish. Good, but won't repeat 06/17/2007 at 10:14pm User: alarie from Kansas City, MO User Rating: Alton's a genius, but we're just partial to greens with vinegar and ham or bacon. The cheeses and mushrooms helped balance the bitterness of the mustard greens, and we DID eat two servings each as a main dish. However, I don't think we'll make this again. excellent 05/24/2005 at 07:23am User: Anonymous User Rating: What a genius way to use greens in a dish. I used the mustard greens and added excess spinach I had on hand. Also, it didn't hurt to put lots of other cheeses in this dish like topping it off with some cheddar. Very lovely. Kinda Cheesy 05/03/2007 at 10:03pm User: Anonymous User Rating: I guess I like my greens plain. Maybe Mushrooms Would Be Better 05/03/2007 at 12:51pm User: Anonymous User Rating: I tried this last night and to be honest, we didn't really care for it too much. I have to be fair though and say my husband hates mushrooms, so we didn't add them. Maybe this is why the dish tasted so bitter to us. (Maybe mushrooms help to neutralize the green "bitter" taste). I love mushrooms, so I am tempted to try this again for myself, since everyone else seems to love this recipe. Fantastic! 05/02/2007 at 09:22pm User: Anonymous User Rating: Very easy to make (from someone who's "specialty" is boxed mac and cheese) and incredibly tasty! In my oven it took significantly less time to bake than stated. Keep an eye on it so it doesn't burn! I'll definately be making this again! INCREDIBLE 05/01/2007 at 11:59am User: Kim from Long Branch, NJ User Rating: Finally the kids eat their greens! Very tasty with one adjustment 04/28/2005 at 09:52pm User: Jack from Valley Glen, CA User Rating: Once again Alton helped us all. I tried with ricotta cheese and it was very good. I did the second batch with small curd cottage cheese (much the way you do with lasagna)and it was delicious! Either way it's a great healthy and tasty dish. Excellent vegetable recipes 04/28/2005 at 12:05pm User: FANG from macon, GA User Rating: I am so surprise that this recipe comes out really tasty, but I use Kale & Turnip Greens to substitute, it is just so yummy!! good stuff! 04/25/2006 at 07:13pm User: cheryl from nashville, TN User Rating: I made this as a side dish for my family Thanksgiving lst year, and everyone wanted the recipe! It is now a staple in our house. good eats for sure 03/15/2007 at 09:58am User: Anonymous User Rating: This was easy to prepare and with dinner in a hurry, I raised the temperature and watched it closely, done in no time. It was perfect with ham steaks and cornbread. Nice 03/14/2007 at 03:25pm User: SHEILA from Orlando, FL User Rating: A great way to make mustard greens.
