Simple and easy with good taste 06/29/2008 at 11:55am User: Anonymous User Rating: Refer to title for review. That's about it. Awesome 06/17/2008 at 12:05am User: Lanelle from Anaheim, CA User Rating: Another family favorite. We just love this recipe. Thank you! sandra lee's lasagna 05/25/2008 at 05:43pm User: candice from waipahu, HI User Rating: love this receipe it is very easy to make and it is delicious. love it. delicious! 05/13/2008 at 12:27pm User: Anonymous User Rating: This lasagna is so delicious! My family LOVES it... it's so easy too! Cat4 02/27/2008 at 08:27pm User: Cathy from Ben Lomond, CA User Rating: I thought this might be weird, but all the flavors blend together perfectly. Tastes better the next day! Easy Too Sweet and Runny 01/26/2008 at 03:31pm User: Anonymous User Rating: I thought that the tomato soup was too sweet. If I were to make it again, I would drain the cottage cheese more as it made it really runny. It was okay but I probably won't make it again. Great! 01/26/2008 at 03:45am User: Christina from Bethany, OK User Rating: Wasn't sure about the tomato soup, but it turned out delicious! Everyone loved it! easy for first timers! 01/13/2008 at 07:02am User: Ola from Batesville, AR User Rating: I live in Poland so finding all the ingredients isn't easy :) I made some adjustments and instead of using tomato soup, I made a sauce with a tomato paste/pre made sauce. It turned out great!! :) WONDERFUL! 11/20/2007 at 08:08pm User: Candice from Pennington Gap, VA User Rating: The first time I made this, I questioned the ingredients the whole time I was cooking but the end result was wonderful! This is definitely not traditional lasagna but its hands down the best I've had. Even my "picky eaters" love this. It's now a family favorite. UGH -- Horrible 08/27/2007 at 11:55am User: Mitos from Deer Harbor, WA User Rating: The tomato soup was just horrible. We threw it out. You've Got to Be Kidding??? 07/16/2007 at 01:17pm User: Bob from Bradford, PA User Rating: Forget for one moment the Cottage Cheese over Ricotta. Forget the Vinegar. But there is no way to get over cans of Tomato Soup instead of a Tomato Sauce. If you're looking for an easy way out, get take-out. If you're cleaning out your cupboards, donate the ingredients before you try this mistake. Just the thought of it makes me want to lick dryer lint to get the taste out of my minds tongue. This was incredible 06/29/2007 at 06:54am User: Jodi from Ringgold, GA User Rating: I have never been able to make a decent lasagna until now. This was by far the best I have ever tasted. I never would've thought to use soup. I make this all the time now. LOVE IT LOVE IT LOVE IT this is "my lasagna" now 01/19/2007 at 09:51am User: sandy from watkinsville, GA User Rating: this lasagna is soooo freakin' good. i have probably made it 20 times. make it just like the recipe says with no substitutions because this one is a keeper! Easy to make - good to eat 01/16/2007 at 01:13am User: Craig from Allegan, MI User Rating: Made this for some friends and it really went well. I read the other user reviews and noted that there was a running trend of people tinkering with it, so I did as well. I added some ricotta cheese and halved the tomato soup, adding in marinara to replace. Also added some green peppers to the meat while it was browning to season it a little more. Then I threw some pepperoni slices into the layers -- but not too much. Wanted to add a little more spice, but not dominate. End result was great. Everyone went back for seconds, and the finnicky one didn't even mind that there was pepperoni (something he normally does not enjoy), so I felt good about my tinkering. Great base recipe to start with and make your own. The tomato soup and vinegar 12/29/2006 at 11:11pm User: Holly from Celebration, FL User Rating: made an awful lasagna Great! 11/18/2006 at 12:42pm User: Liz from Pensacola, FL User Rating: My husband and I have't liked the other Sandra Lee recipes we've tried, but this was amazing! I liked the different flavor - lighter than other lasagna I've made. YUCK 11/01/2006 at 01:25pm User: Anonymous User Rating: This woman does not know how to cook! Why does she even have a show???? Never mind that she is THE tackiest person on the foodnetwork!! Not very refined... Fabulously Easy 10/23/2006 at 06:20pm User: Eileen from Port Saint Lucie, FL User Rating: I am not big on Italian cooking, and as such, I had never bothered to make lasagna always believing it was too much work. Well not true with this GREAT recipe! The prep was minimal and the taste was superb. I had myself and 5 guests for dinner and they thought the meal was just wonderful. Every one of my guests asked for the recipe! This is the first recipe from Sandra Lee I've tried - I think I'll buy her books now! Too much onion 10/21/2006 at 08:10pm User: MAGGIE from Ridgecrest, CA User Rating: Great flavor...just too much onion. I would use a small onion. Also this recipe makes a ton, not sure why it is labled four servings. No flavor 10/12/2006 at 09:42pm User: David from Bend, OR User Rating: I used ricotta instead of cottage cheese and it still was bland, bland, bland. The few minutes saved turned this into a cheap TV dinner quality meal. Really, really, really BAD 10/06/2006 at 04:55pm User: Chavez from Burnsville, MN User Rating: This was terrible lasagna. Tomato soup gave it no tomato flavor to speak of and made it very sweet and pink in color. My advice is don't fall for "easy" with this recipe because it just tastes so downright horrible. Horrible 10/05/2006 at 05:09pm User: Sharleen from Chicago, IL User Rating: This was the worst tasting lasagna I've ever had. It was gruesome. Terrible flavor 09/13/2006 at 09:17pm User: Anonymous User Rating: It tasted very 'cheap'. Not a keeper. quick and easy 08/15/2006 at 09:35am User: suzy from princeton, TX User Rating: this recipe went over well at my house. however its not as rich as true italian lasagna Fabulously easy and delicious 08/05/2006 at 10:12pm User: cindy from summerfield, NC User Rating: I never used to make lasagna because quite frankly it was just too much trouble, that was until I was given this recipe by my sister. It quickly became a family favorite, everybody loves it. I love to take it and share the recipe because no one can believe what it has in it and how good it tastes. I make this at least once a month for either my family or to take to a function - it never fails and always gets rave reviews. Thanks Sandra! Surprisingly Good! 07/02/2006 at 09:54pm User: Tiffany from Winder, GA User Rating: When I read the recipe and these reviews I wasnt sure I would like this, but my husband and I thought it was great. The only thing I changed was I added green pepper. We will definitly make this one again, very easy and tasty. Thanks Sandra! First time to ever cook Lasagna 06/27/2006 at 03:23pm User: Rhonda from Mt. Juliet, TN User Rating: I had never cooked Lasagna before in my life and I am 26. I got this recipe and it was easy to follow. It has somethings that I don't like to eat in it but you couldn't even taste them. Well All I really need to say is that a friend of my husbands come over to have some and he is 40 and he said that was the best Lasagna he had ever eaten. Thank you so much for this recipe. Gross 06/20/2006 at 12:35pm User: Anonymous User Rating: This recipe sounded a little odd when I read it, but I decided to give it a shot anyhow. It is not good at all. Why not just use a jarred marinara instead of tomato soup! Good and easy 06/19/2006 at 11:28am User: michelle from University Place, WA User Rating: This was easy to make, but with the tomato soup it gave it a flavor very similar to Stouffers store bought lasagna. My kids loved it, my husband however asked me what I did to it. tasty 06/18/2006 at 10:32pm User: Anonymous User Rating: it tasted wonderful and was easy to make! The second dish was much better because I used double the amount of mozz cheese and more cottage cheese. I found it to be extremely tasty as leftovers and I usually hate leftovers. Amazing 05/25/2006 at 05:35pm User: Laura from San Antonio, TX User Rating: This lasagna is just amazing. At first I was kind of hesitant, however after making it, I really think it tasted better than other lasagnas. It is not oily, greasy, messy, instead it is the total opposite and filled with great flavor! Yuck 04/24/2006 at 02:32pm User: Anonymous User Rating: This tasted like tomato soup. I love tomato soup 04/24/2006 at 12:21pm User: Anonymous User Rating: But it's terrible in this lasagne. The worst my family has ever had, and I've fed them some doozies over the years. Super quick and easy! 04/03/2006 at 08:50pm User: Kelley from Ladera Ranch, CA User Rating: We loved the variation with the tomato soup and apple cider vinegar. It didn't taste like the normal recipes that often taste like you poured pizza sauce or spaghetti sauce in the middle. You should try this great lasagna! The WORST I've ever tasted 03/28/2006 at 02:21pm User: Bud from Century City, CA User Rating: I am at a lack for words in describing how ridiculously bad this lasagna is. Try adding veggies to more spices to the meat to increase flavor Quick and Easy 02/08/2006 at 03:53pm User: Gennae from Aurora, CO User Rating: The lasagne was easy to make. My 10 year old son loved it. My husband thought it was a little bland. I might try it with italian sausage next time to give it a little more flavor. I used more than 2 cups of mozarella cheese and I think that helped. The leftovers tasted better the next day. And I don't usually like lasagne 02/07/2006 at 11:50pm User: Anonymous User Rating: A close friend made this for me to try...knowing I am not a fan of lasagne. It came out a little dry, but it tasted good... my husband went back for seconds. I will definately use this recipe, with a little tweaking of the moisture content. great "kids" lasagne 02/02/2006 at 10:42pm User: Anonymous User Rating: Mine liked it a lot! He wasn't crazy about an Emeril lasagna I have made but really liked this one. So labor intensive doesn't always mean tastier. I used Barilla no cook lasgna noodles instead of pre boiling and found it to work very well. not traditional but delicious 11/11/2005 at 09:09pm User: Anonymous User Rating: I was skeptical, but I tried making this because I usually like her recipes.
